Almost clocking in at 8 months here it makes me sad/annoyed, even if you think your prepared you still have a high chance of getting delay snags with this process, it's like a high stakes gamble for ones happiness. The NVC rfe was mostly NVC's fault even as they didn't explain how to get dutch police certficates very well giving us the run around after trying to fix it too and something I already sent them for the AOS they claimed I didn't send it, sigh. The holidays just adds to the delay too when I think about it, if I could wish to skip over the holidays I would have because I couldn't spend them in person with husband anyways, but I made the best of it that I could spending time with family. Anyways I just needed to vent a bit and hoping to hear some closure from NVC soon because it feels like I'm still at "USCIS" with the way it's dragging along right now.

I know, it just feels like I hit another brick wall as I've ran into a few this year, and the worst part of it is I just want to go visit my husband again not knowing the interview date yet gives me nothing to look forward to at the moment and we had agreed in the beginning that I'd wait till the interview to come visit him because of many reasons my job, saving money etc. , I just really need to hear some good news soon. Thanks for the support.

Well there's always hope. Today while having a drink at a very cool restaurant we both got emails on our blacberrys, well out of nowhere the email came from the NVC. We have an interview booked by them in Montreal for February 24th. Un real.....here we were just telling a friend that we thought we wouldn't even here about an interview until may or so! How amazingly happy we are! Hang in there everyone, there is hope and a new year with wonderful things coming your way!

Well there's always hope. Today while having a drink at a very cool restaurant we both got emails on our blacberrys, well out of nowhere the email came from the NVC. We have an interview booked by them in Montreal for February 24th. Un real.....here we were just telling a friend that we thought we wouldn't even here about an interview until may or so! How amazingly happy we are! Hang in there everyone, there is hope and a new year with wonderful things coming your way!

I still have hope despite my frustrations I'll just be glad when we get that email with an interview date until then me and hubby are making due with skype as always which is very fortunate that we can talk as much as we want there, I'll be glad when I don't have to wear a headset anymore to talk to my husband though :P

2010 May 13: Check cashed

2010 May 12: NOA1

2010 Jun 8: Touched

2010 Jun 9: Touched ...again???

2010 Oct 26: Touched !! (after calling USCIS, and congressman 3 days earlier)

2010 Nov 1: RFE (G-325A & Photos)

2010 Nov 9: Touched

2010 Nov 10: Touched

2010 Nov 16: Touched

2010 Nov 17: Touched ... again.

2010 NOV 22: NOA2 =)

NVC

11/xx/10: NVC Assigns a Case#

11/30/10: Called NVC provided emails/ got case# & IIN #

11/30/10: hubby emailed DS3032

11/30/10: paid AOS fee

12/01/10: AOS status paid

12/06/10: hubby emailed DS3032 again..got a confirmation same day!

12/06/10: IV bill invoiced

12/07/10: DS-3032 (Choice of agent) accepted

12/10/10: mailed AOS packet!

12/15/10: pay IV bill

01/10/11: hubby mailed IV packet

02/01/11: checklist from NVC hubby has to fill out EP for montreal!

02/06/11: hubby completed and submitted EP application.

03/10/11: SIF/ case complete=)

04/12/11: Medical completed!

04/20/11: Picked up medical...passed =)

05/03/11: Interview Scheduled @ 8AM!!! =)

05/03/11: APPROVED YAY! =)

05/09/11: Visa in hand! =)

07/02/11: POE =)=)
