Thanks everyone, me too. oh i have kicked myself so many times so to speak on that little boo boo.. :bonk: Sometimes we can be focused on trying to look for errors in our docs and miss something soooooooo simple....But like i said it is a tiny simple fix. Everything is ready to mail out just waiting on 1 sheet of paper...lol .. What really burns me is , it just so happens to be the page you do the signature on that was wrong(Ds230 page 2)... grrrrrr  . why couldnt it have been page 1,3,4? those i could have redid here and sent the middle of last week instead of waiting for 1 sheet of paper to travel 10,000 miles..,,,,,,. Nvc will have the papers Friday morning and our case should be resumed after that.... It seems we missed the Jan interview slots though... oh well, always Feb

I sure can relate to this boo boo. When I received the DS 230 from my girl, I noticed the page that has the signature was a copy, and the other pages were original. That was 7 days of waiting, and then another 7 days of waiting on the one page with an original signature. When I finally got all my documents together, I sent everything in one package. Well almost everything, I forgot the passport type photos, :bonk::bonk: . No problem, next day, another cover letter with barcode, case number, etc. and sent.

Hi everyone! Hope everyone is doing well.

So I sent the AOS packet and paid the IV bill they should have got it on the 13th I mailed it on the 10th. Soo everytime I call the automated system put in my NVC case number to check status says " your NVC number does not exist and is not here or something" Soo that kinda bugs me. So I decided to call an operater today and she said we recieved your AOS packet on the 16th and it is currently under review. I explained to her about the automated system and she told me everything looks fine on the computer and I must be putting the wrong case # in...........LOL soo I just gave up and told her I'll call in 2 weeks to check back up on it. =/

I'm just wondering whats going through her silly head.....how am I putting in the wrong freaking case# if I gave it to her at the beginning of the phone calll and its all my info.

MERRY CHRISTMAS everyoneeeeeeee ! & HAPPY NEW YEAR. I PRAY WE ALL GET TO BE WITH OUR LOVED ONES SOON =)

I memorized my number and put it in wrong once. Kind of scared me when it said number not found. I wouldn't worry about the AVR. Mine was never accurate. Just keep talking to the operator.

I tried entering my NVC case number in the AVR once, and because of the way my phone keyboard is set up, it doesn't take the letters/numbers right. I just put in my USCIS number--much easier.

Hey there Booger,

Nothing is really new with me. My hubby had a consultation with a lawyer to ask some questions. He said it went well and the lawyer said he could go to the police station and ask for a "snynopsis" of the charges he had. and he got them, so thats good i guess. We found out that he had one "conditional discharge" on one charge , and the other charge says "withdrawn" The lawyer said we shouldn't have any poblems.....butt I don't believe it until my hubby is in my arms lol

I know how your feeling! Hopefully we will all be reunited with our loved ones soon =) Have a Merry Christmas too, and a Happy New Year!

I was just checking emails and my hubby is waiting on the freaking fingerprint style police check and he emailed RCMP and this is what they said:

Good day

We received the application in our system .We are unable to give you a specific time to when this will be completed.

CFSS processes more than 15,000 criminal record searches each month. The processing time is currently in excess of one hundred and twenty (120) working days from receipt of an application. Note that processing time can vary due to incoming workloads.

Once your request has been processed, the result will be forwarded to: his address

Thats like the lastttttt thing he needed to get, so far he has:

court records of charges

police records of charges

police certificate....came back clear.... but everyone here says we gotta get the fingerprint one because he had prior run in with the law. Sooo hopefully he'll get it before the interview!

I'm sure the quietness is attributed to hopefully people enjoying the holidays rather then fretting about this crazy waiting business.

No news from NVC yet on my side I'll probably call after christmas if I haven't gotten any notice before then just to see if anything got entered into the system yet, I'm really anxious for some news about it soon though.

I hope everyone has a Merry Christmas, I think xmas eve me and hubby will watch some christmas movies together as some quality time "apart" but together in at least watching something at the same time.

Just hang in there, it will be fine. His documents will arrive b4 the interview. As for your comment about the talk with the lawyer, i agree with your lawyer . Like i said b4,iF your hubby's past run in with the law was enough for a denial ,Im sure a red flag would have halted your noa2... so relax and wait , that is all we can do , it is hard but worth it in the end...

Like i said b4,iF your hubby's past run in with the law was enough for a denial ,Im sure a red flag would have halted your noa2... so relax and wait , that is all we can do , it is hard but worth it in the end...
