Yesterday I mailed the letter I wrote with a copy of these directions

that NVC has to request the police certificate (since they asked me to write a letter...) and extra copies of the birth certificates for the AOS yesterday and it arrived and signed by NVC a little over an hour ago, I hope and pray that they will be appeased now and give us that interview date!!@#%$&%

Yea it blew my mind and hubby's too =/ , but I mailed the crappy letter to NVC anyways and I hope that it's want they wanted to finish processing with NVC, if not I think I'll probably have a meltdown :wacko:

Thanks for reading about our situation, we are just waiting now and hoping for the best.

I just called NVC and found that my appointment has been scheduled for January 18th!!!!!!!!!!!

I'm happy to say my interview date has been set for January 18 @ 10am.

11-15-10 Sent IV and AOS packages seperately via overnight mail.

11-16-10 IV and AOS packages received at NVC at 11:22am ..... Now the wait begins again :(

11-30-10 Both packages entered into NVC's system awaiting review.....

12-07-10 RFE. A simple fix , But i need to wait till replacement page of Ds230 arrives, then overnight the checklist stuff back to NVC.

12-15-10 RFE docs arrived via DHL from Judy...heading to the Post Office to overnight to nvc

Jenn , sad to post but we got an RFE too... over something kinda supid... :bonk: the ds230 form line 30 (list all places that you have lived, starting with present and go backwards to age 16)...... well instead of the word "present" she put the actual date of the form..... thats it... :bonk::bonk: she and i both didnt notice it....it wasnt her fault only, mine too..cause i said "yea ,sounds good" as she read everything to me on the web chat b4 she mailed it to me...lol... so a simple fix ... i should have looked more cosely on her papers.... that one got by me..lol :bonk: the docs will be here tomorrow from her and then straight to the PO to overnight to NVC. besides that everything else is entered in already and passed the review, just waiting on 1 paper..lol

Sorry to hear about the RFE...at least it's a minor fix and you will soon be done with NVC.
