I have not heard of this before. Where did you read this? I may have misunderstood your post but I believe the IV fee will have to be paid and then you will send in the package with the bar coded cover sheet. Without this your case cannot be completed at NVC and placed in line for an interview in Montreal.

11-02-10 DS-3032, I-864 Bill received.

11-02-10 AOS Bill paid.

11-09-10 IV Bill recieved

Aw God Wayne & Claudia wasnt nice at all!!!!!! I read your thread, so abnoxious he was!! I hope you'll have SIF & CC soon!! :)

Uh yea I had no clue what that was about, I simply asked them to explain their post (because it was unclear what they said) and that I had an opinion of the (NVC being dumb) agreeing with Solteq's post and they got hostile and very rude...oh well.

I hope I get the RFE sorted out soon and an SIF! still trying to figure out the Police certificate part of it.

Its okay we all freak out! I know I do :hehe: What exactly was wrong with your packet, they said you didn't have a birth certificate for who do they need it?

I just sent the AOS packet my hubby is going to send the IV, he's finishing it up. And in the AOS i included:

-copy of my birth certificate.

-copy of my passport biographic page

-my drivers license

-parents drivers license

-parents naturlazation certificates (they don't have passports yet, haven't travelled yet lol )

Well I posted the link of the RFE I got if u want to look in detail, but they wanted proof that I was related to the household member (co sponsor), I had sent them both mine and mother's birth certificates already in the AOS packet, but they might have overlooked or lost it I guess? so I just mailed them off yesterday and they'll get them on monday, I'm still confused about the Netherlands police certificate they want that too, but I thought they were suppose to deal with it from what I read but I'm not sure now. :wacko:

You checklist seems good hopefully you wrote the NVC case numbers at the top of your pages, I guess it could help if they missplace something, although it's not required.

Also the IV bill I've heard I don't have to pay it now....and if I don't my hubby would just pay it in Monteral when he goes for an interview. Ya guys think thats true? Or I have to pay it?

Not sure about that one, you should call NVC and ask about it~

I think it's easier to just pay it online regardless then you don't have to worry about it at interview time?

Yea I don't know it's confusing me too as I've spoken to other's on vj from the Netherlands and was told they didn't have to do anything to get a police certificate that it was automatically taken care of, hubby was suppose to call consulate today (they are only available regarding immigrant visas issues till 12pm there :unsure: ) but he overslept so tomarrow I guess :bonk:

I doubt it :P , I'm definitely not worried about it as I've got "bigger fish to fry" so to speak regarding getting through the rest of this crazy process and moving on with my life, I'm just glad some people are more reasonable than others =) and understand this process isn't easy even for the most simple of cases.
