May 2010 CR1 filers

I am lucky in that my husband lives about 5hrs away and we will be together during the holidays. I have had no issues entering the USA, nor him into Canada since we got approved and onto the NVC. We are lucky that way I guess. I just miss him terribly everyday and it just seems like the time will NEVER come that we can actually live together like husband and wife. Until that day I just try to get through without him.

I wish everyone here at VJ to be together with their loved ones for the holidays, but I know that is not always possible. Even if we were to get approved at NVC by Christmas, I bet we wouldn't have an interview at Montreal until the spring and that certainly SUCKS..ughhh

I hear ya on the missing part. Wow! i wish i lived only 5 hrs from my judy i would be there every weekend...lol i live 10,000 away from my baby.. it really does suck.

btw, monday is my judy's Bday AND also our first year wedding anniv... (same day) but i am here she wants me to wait till the interview b4 i come back there. this will be the first thanksgiving and christmas i will have missed since meeting her . very sad to be apart from her even 4 a minute,

TY, i hope you 're right , i miss her so much as i'm sure you and everyone out there does theirs.... just wish the nvc was over already and we had the interview date ........ at least i could start counting the days down then

I know how you feel, i'm so sorry you won't be together for your birthday and anniversary. Next year you will be together and you will see all of this as a distant memory.

Any May Filers get a SIF yet?? I wonder how long its going to take after NVC gets both packages.

Yea it would be nice to see some SIFs this week, definitly would make me feel better

Yah, I'm all OCD about the SIF thing. Before it was the USCIS website to see if I was touched, now it's this..why do they make us wait soooo long?

I'm hoping for a SIF and praying that I don't get an RFE for some stupid reason? Am I the only one here doing this..

I have been reading over the vjwiki guide "how do I bring my spouse to the us" It is very helpful =)

I am trying to get prepared to contact NVC now, Am I supposed to have my hubbys paperwork with me right now? Because he has the Benfi stuff....all of the Ds-230 and 330 and all of that stuff. Am I the one that mails it in now? or he does?

There is a small delay in NVC getting your information but start calling NVC now and give operator email addresses for the both of you, get NVC case number, and try to get invoice identification number also. You can try the various methods described to get the DS-3032 processed. I didnt have much luck right away. The AOS(I-864) came first for me. If you are agent assigned on the DS-3032 have husband send you everything for DS-230 ao you will ready to send it off the same day you are allowed to.

Re-read the Wiki guide so you understand everything. You can save time in this part of the process or you can drag it out.

Yes ds3032 has to be sent from your hubby email account as he is the beneficiary.

Minted... It is ok to call now to NVC... . for the record, it is up to you and your spouse on how fast or slow you plan to get through NVC.. you have up to a year if im not wrong b4 the docs expire... so you can move fast or slow through them .. its up to you ...
