WE GOT APPROVED!!

OMG hubby just checked the mail (my sons and I are visiting the US at the moment) and he got copies of our NOA2 which say we were approved on the 17th Nov. USCIS website still says 'RFE under review'. AT LAST!! Not sure what to do now lol, will they send me something to the UK which I need before we can proceed with NVC, or as we are using a lawyer, will they be able to send stuff to NVC? Please help!

Use this link as your NVC guide it will help you get through it quickly, make sure you have all the required documents ready for NVC it will save you time if you do. Since you are using a lawyer it might be slightly different but you should know whats going on regardless so you can see if your lawyer is doing things right~!

17.11.10 - NOA2 (there was a hold up due to incorrect information put on forms by our lawyer)

05.1.11 - SIF and CC for my case only. Get RFE for my 2 sons as lawyer made ANOTHER mistake and made errors on I-864's for the children.

10.1.11 - Corrected I-864's received at NVC via Fedex

14.11.11 - Corrected paperwork entered on system according to AVR

17.1.11 - Medicals done

27.1.11 - My husband calls his senator's office and asks for help to get things moving.

31.1.11 - Finally got SIF for my sons!

01.2.11 - CC (Phoned DOS as NVC shut due to weather and they told me paperwork was completed at NVC on 1st Feb)

15.3.11 - Interview - APPROVED!!!

Thankyou! I hope the next stages aren't nerve racking also! Although in the back of my head there is that run in with the law ####### my hubby got from 12yrs ago. This is def a mentally draining experience! I just feel like for USCIS to approve someones petition and forward it to NVC they have to have run background checks .......i feel like the NVC is where they are testing us to ssee if people were to be open and honest and truthful... my heart tells me that is the case, I pray everything turns out okay :star:

Well NVC is a prelude to the consular interview which is really the real test to see if everything you said was open and honest and you'll have your chance as well as all of us to show them that we deserve to be with our spouses, so just try to take the time and prepare any documentation to make your case solid, think of it kinda like a job interview, but a bit more intrusive and detailed. :blink:

If your mentally and physically prepared it'll be a lot easier when the real test comes along. I hope it all goes well for you!

Guys I need help. So I emailed the DS3032 and just got this reply back. What does it mean???

Dear Sir/Madam:

Your inquiry has been received at the National Visa Center (NVC).

The NVC is unable to add third party contact information to the case record at this time. Please continue to notify the NVC if your address changes.

If a period of one year passes from the last date of contact with the NVC (by email, telephone or mail), all submitted fees and documents will expire. In that case, your fees will need to be repaid and documents will need to be resubmitted in order to continue the immigration process.
