Does anyone know how long it takes to get the case over to the NVC. Called today and they dont have my file as of yet.

Not fully sure but probably a couple of weeks and usually they'd say the max amount of days.

well we are waiting on a court record, already got 3, and the rcmp fingerprint record, it's been a month since they have had it... thats about it. what are the names of the bills to get paid in NVC stage? IV and AOS ? how much are each of the bills roughly?

You receive the AOS bill first and can send the DS-3032 as soon they give you the barcode version, there's a way to make a barcode for the DS-3032 but I don't know how much success people have had with it. When they get the DS-3032 then they'll generate the IV bill, if your going to be the agent you'll go onto the NVC payment portal to pay them. AOS $88 and IV $404 are the current fee's

I'm getting really depressed now. USCIS have had our RFE for 13 days and only one touch (on 15th). It was a stupid simple thing they needed, why cant they just match it all up and approve us? We are gonna be so far behind everyone else who filed in May, and it puts us back by 3 weeks already.

All we want is to be together, I dont think its ever going to happen, why does the good luck all go to everyone else

I feel your pain...it will be over soon hang in there...call USCIS again and inquire about the status of your RFE.

I feel your pain..... my hubby and i are upset. It's like helloO we know you got the RFE and you just touched it, type in the info and issue the NOA2. It's all i think about every day. Even when I talk to people I just zone out thinking about it. sucks.

I'll let you know if anything happens. Just try to do something to get your mind of things. I'm trying to run errands for my grandma, or I go bike riding at night. I don't know something. I'll be praying for you! Don't worry everything will be okay

Thanks Ladydare and Minted...the only good thing at the moment is that I am visiting my hubby until Christmas, then we are going back to my home in the UK for the holidays. I know I am really lucky to be with him right now because a lot of people on VJ havent seen their husband/wife for a long time. We just want it to be forever, and to be able to move on with the whole wretched process - we got an RFE down to a mistake by the stupid lawyer in the first place.

Thinking of you all on here by the way, not just myself, thats just how it comes out in me sometimes.

We're not waiting on USCIS which I know must be really horrible to still be there, because I had some moments before our approval worried why it was taking so long or worrying if there was going to be an RFE, I'm thankful there wasn't, but it could really happen to anyone and it's all an emotional mess going through this process no matter how long or little someone has to wait. We are waiting too still just at a different stage, for the AOS and IV applications to be put into the NVC system, I pray there'll be no RFE there either. I hope both minted and Angelheart's case will be approved soon don't give up and try to find distractions in your daily routine as it really does help to not dwell this every second of the day, it's important to try and stay healthy and not let stress overwhelm us.

That'll be a good distraction to visit for the holidays I hope it'll be some cheer to you, I can understand the forever part because everytime me and my hubby have had to leave after visiting each other it only feels more difficult to say goodbye, I'll be glad when we won't have to do that anymore.

Soooooooooo any "new" news on the interview wait times in Montreal..still crawling?? Anyone know....anyone??

3 December interviews were just posted in the Canada forum...June and early July NVC completions. Still a ridiculous wait but at least something is happening.
