Today i will send out the AOS and ds230 package to NVC by overnight mail. i checked and triple checked everything and wrote our case # on everything . Praying for no RFE... they have been paid for for a week already ... Kinda delaying sending it to them right away... so the interview date will be around Febuary sometime . Reason is . airfare is cheaper in feb , also i can do 2010 taxes and bring that with me so the CO can see i had a really good year this year too . hopefully my plan works lol...i really want my wife home so much. we have been on this journey for 3 and 1/2 years..... that is a long time ...... 11-02-10 DS-3032, I-864 Bill received.

11-02-10 AOS Bill paid.

11-09-10 IV Bill recieved

11-09-10 IV Bill paid.

11-15-10 Sent IV and AOS packages seperately via overnight mail.

11-16-10 IV and AOS packages received at NVC at 11:22am ..... Now the wait begins again :(

12-07-10 RFE. A simple fix , But i need to wait till replacement page of Ds230 arrives, then overnight the checklist stuff back to NVC.

17.11.10 - NOA2 (there was a hold up due to incorrect information put on forms by our lawyer)

NVC

16.12.10 - All fees paid and everything received at NVC

05.1.11 - SIF and CC for my case only. Get RFE for my 2 sons as lawyer made ANOTHER mistake and made errors on I-864's for the children.

10.1.11 - Corrected I-864's received at NVC via Fedex

14.11.11 - Corrected paperwork entered on system according to AVR

17.1.11 - Medicals done

27.1.11 - My husband calls his senator's office and asks for help to get things moving.

31.1.11 - Finally got SIF for my sons!

01.2.11 - CC (Phoned DOS as NVC shut due to weather and they told me paperwork was completed at NVC on 1st Feb)

10.2.11 - Interview date assigned

15.3.11 - Interview - APPROVED!!!

24.3.11 - POE - Dallas, TX

Angleheart have you heard anything from USCIS? I know you sent back your RFE.

Just checked USCIS website and got a touch today. Am hoping they might make a decision real soon because they have had our further evidence for 10 days now.

It's a possiblitiy that I might have got it confused with the interview checklist

Well if thats the case I can mail it off as soon as my husbands IV packet arrives, but it would still be nice to get the NOA2 since it is hard proof of the approval and has the notice date on it =/

I am sure you will get it in the mail soon, but trust me they will not ask you for that at interview or when submitting documents to NVC

In most cases, the beneficiary is REQUIRED to show a copy of NOA2 to take the medical exam. But these are in cases where the beneficiary takes the medical BEFORE receiving any interview appointment letter.

OTOH, the petitioner is NOT REQUIRED to submit the NOA2 for the AOS package or the IV package.

I hope this helps. :thumbs:

I think that depends what country you are from, my husband had to wait for a letter from the USEM embassy in Chile in order to schedule the medical. It was a packet with instructions for the medical and also the forms the doctor had to fill out....

Well the AOS and IV was received by the NVC today so hopefully everything is good and no RFE's *fingers crossed* hopefully won't take but a couple of weeks to process , I want a december interview really bad so I can go visit hubby sooner as it's been around 9months since he visited here in usa.

Well be thankful he can come here to visit without much hassle... In the Philippines you have to go through so much red tape to even be considered a visa here ... Oh well, maybe soon we all won't have to look to webcams everyday cause hopefully our loved ones will be home.....

Our AOS and DS230 were overnighted to NVC ,,, should be there by noon tommorrow ...

Well plane tickets don't come cheap either, so whether there's some kind of red tape or other reason for most couples to be apart for long periods of time while waiting to be together, I do hope that things will go well for everyone. Good luck
