The DS-3032 aka "Choice of Agent form",indicates who will make payments and be primary contact. Most people select the US based petitioner. The DS-230 is the actual Immigrant Visa Application.

Well my case got sent to NVC earlier than I thought so I was already in the system and received a notice in mail from them, as being my first notice of actually realizing my case was already at NVC, when I had only just got new's of an approval too late.. I was out of normal processing time at USCIS since Oct. 11 so while it may look like I'm going fast it's only me catching up because I was behind in my schedual, hope this makes sense.

I sent one all ready with a hand made bar code. As you can see it didn't help. Wishing you better luck

I'm a little bit confused on how you worded your questions, but I'll try to answer the best I can.

Yes I received Mail from NVC, but they didn't have my email yet so that is why. IF you gave them your email already they might have mentioned as they mentioned to me when I called Thurs. to give emails that all correspondence will be through email now instead of snail mail. You can Scan and email the DS-3032 I got a great tip through Loto as I made a different thread asking about mailing DS-3032. I'll post what I did so that you can maybe have some success.

Send your DS-3032 Choice of Agent through email (only do this if you have called NVC and they have your emails on file and you have your NVC Case Number)

Make sure your Email subject line is: (Attn: Supervisor Sue, "NVC Case Number", Beneficiary Name, Beneficiary date-of-birth)

Body of Email Example

To whom it may concern:

I have attached DS-3032 in this email completed and signed by the beneficiary "beneficiary's name".

note that your the petitioner if your sending this email and your Name and date-of-birth.

Sincerely,

your name

By the way, if you haven't thought of this just in case check your spam email box and make sure that any NVC mail didn't end up there it's a possiblity.

Thanks Atencio...called NVC they say it takes 2-4 weeks to generate the IV bill. Will send in another DS3032 in PDF form this time.

Just got off the phone with NVC was told that making payment before bills are generated causes problems..but we all know better than to wait on NVC to do things before we act. My IV fee bill has not been generated so have to wait for that..next week looking better already.

Well if it's available and open to be paid through online payment that means it's generated in this case, I would assume that only applies to different payment methods? It won't let you click on NVC payment until AOS showed PAID, then it becomes available.

Thats unfortunate but I guess in this case even with NVC some have more luck than others with diffrent aspects of the process, I hope you get news of it soon.
