My I-130 got approved on Oct. 15 but the status still displays "Initial Review"; the application was last updated on Oct. 14. I found the approvals in mail last Saturday (Oct. 23).

All of you with recent touches should check your mail boxes for approval letters

I really hope that the USCIS site is actually not working. Alot of us had two touches las week and nobody so far has posted anything of gettin some news of approval. Please let those approval letters be in the mail.

OMG just called NVC just to see if my case was there hoping to get the AVR but I got a human gave her my case # and she said USCIS has sent my petition to them but it hasnt been entered into the system yet. USCIS website is definately not working mine is still saying initial review. I will wait for the snail mail to confirm the approval.....I'm soooooo happy right now.

Yeah that def means that its approved and that Noa2 is in the mail. I had a feeling the website was acting stupid... I wonder if I should try calling the NVC too.

I will definately call NVC around this time....it's not so busy you will get a live operator.

Didn't ask them anything...the lady picked up and asked me for my case #...i gave her the number more then once..she confirmed the number by repeating it and i said yes that's and she gave me the good news.

Cant belive half of may filers are approved & I'm not. Ppl with same Noa 1 as us, or 2-3 days earlier already got hardcopy. We didnt get not even 1 touch to give us a bit of hope, to not feel completely forgotten!! Yesterday we called congressman office which we emailed last week only to find out we are under different jurisdiction, so.... we lost a week waiting for smth to happen. Today my husband will fax in the immigration_waiver + the letter to the right congressman's office. I think November will get approved... this month, no way jose!!!!! I'm upset cause i feel so unlucky!!!!! sighhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh........ cryyyyyyyy like a babyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy :crying: :crying:

i know your feeling, called BOTH my states senators on the 15th and 18th and finally got a touch on the 21st but nothing after that. maybe the uscis website is messed up a bit , maybe we are already approved ....dunno ......going to call the nvc at 7:30 to try to talk to a human(fingers crossed). hopfully we too will hav some good news but the way my luck goes probably not , but still hoping. this whole process has taken its toll on me... i feel so old waiting on this... ....
