Hello!! I filed April 22 and received my NOA1 April 29, so I'm borderline April/May filer. My case was last touched May 13... Two weeks seems like an eternity. But we do what we have to right?

Thats for your timeline data here on visa journey which is different from USCIS any of the visa journey tools are just estimates only based on member data, if your Notice Date on your NOA 1 is May 12 then you're past 5 months and you can call USCIS, I myself have already called them a few days ago and was told I was out of processing time. Go ahead and call if it'll make you feel better and even contact your congress person which I did today, it at least gave me some better news than if I didn't do anything at all.

All they do is tell us to wait. Its super frustrating that people ahead of you get approved and all they can tell you is your case is still in initial review. I could undestand if this was some kinda free service but we handed them close to $500. They had no delay when they took our money, so it really ticks me off that all they tell us to do is wait, after the fact we have waited past their 5 month processing time.

I can agree as I'm not sure now how they are processing petitions now I thought they did it mostly in order based on date put into their system but it seems chaotic right now, they did say to wait when I called, but at least they put in a request to check on our case and seeing as how I didn't want to wait 30 days as a customer rep said to do, I called the congress person and they at least told me 2 weeks which is a heck of a lot less than 30 days, but either way yes it sucks.

Exact same thing happened with me too heh, but I called congressperson too so I called everyone who I can call about it I suppose, so wait it is then.

So just got a call back from my congresswomans office. Told me that my casefile is with an officer right now so you should expect something really soon.

:blink: basically everyone says wait so thats what we are forced to do, I wish there was something new to talk about though, but regarding this I'm drawing a blank so I'll do some more waiting and give an update when I get some more news and go do something distracting so I don't have to think about this for awhile. Good luck to everyone else still waiting I'm pulling for all of us.

Called both my state senators and the USCIS last week .USCIS filed for outside normal processing times request form. Senators office called me back and said mine is with an officer too and should definitely hear something within 30 days...TOUCHED today for the first time since filing... hopfully something good is coming... ;)

10-26-10 NVC recieves our petition

10-27-10 NVC case # assigned..

11-02-10 DS-3032, I-864 Bill received.

11-02-10 AOS Bill paid.

11-09-10 IV Bill recieved

11-09-10 IV Bill paid.

11-15-10 Sent IV and AOS packages seperately via overnight mail.

11-16-10 IV and AOS packages received at NVC at 11:22am ..... Now the wait begins again :(

11-30-10 Both packages entered into NVC's system awaiting review.....

12-07-10 RFE. A simple fix , But i need to wait till replacement page of Ds230 arrives, then overnight the checklist stuff back to NVC.

12-15-10 RFE docs arrived via DHL from Judy...heading to the Post Office to overnight to nvc

I just checked USCIS and noticed a touch for today's date, and I thought I'd never see that date change so they actually looked at my case this makes me feel more hopefull I know it's not an NOA 2 but at least it's something happening! :thumbs:
