Friends, USCIS sucks... some are approved fast, some not... Dont know what to belive anymore, I will just shush, be silent & sad. :help:

Best of luck to you Jen and Geert, and to everyone who is waiting. Its SO hard, I check the USCIS website a dozen times a day, wait for the post every morning, and ....NOTHING! I know our time will come, but its so very very difficult.... :(

Being able to talk to everyone here is helping me through this rough patch, as it's not easy when you don't know whats next and waiting on that NOA2. We'll see what happens, hopefully the pace of approvals will pick up =)

I contacted mine right at the five month mark. I don't know if it helped or not, but my NOA2 came a week later. They can look into the case for you; I asked them to inquire as to what was holding up my case.

So I Checked the website and it said: On October 19, 2010, we mailed you a notice that we have approved this I130 IMMIGRANT PETITION FOR RELATIVE, FIANCE(E), OR ORPHAN. Please follow any instructions on the notice. If you move before you receive the notice, call customer service at 1-800-375-5283.

I did not get an email notification though so hope it wasn't a mistake

this definitely feels chaotic with approvals dunno what to think about it right now except I think I'll make some calls tomarrow morning because it just feels uncomfortable not hearing any news at all on our petition yet, even a case touch would make me feel a bit better about it, I'm still within my timeline window though so I don't know.

I can only imagine what you're feeling, Jen. I'm sure it sucks hearing touches and approvals AFTER your case was filed.

I would call, contact congressman, whatever... Anything to lower your anxiety would be beneficial.

Oh no no no, it was not a mistake, you actually are that lucky :yes:, congratulations and hope you just fly trought NVC process. I give you three weeks to get it all done :)
