I will like to announce that I just received a text message and email stating that my application has been approved. This was after the IO told me that I have about 35 more days to go. I have waited patiently and the Lord has answered my prayers. It took 164 days altogether.

I got a letter of approval. Web site keep showing my application as "initial phase". Letter was dated 10/6/10. However I got letter today 10/9/10.

Thanks. I am wondering where visa center will mail DS3032 (to me or to my wife in Pakistan). I declared my self as the agent. I do not have a lawyer.

The NVC will e-mail the DS-3032 to the beneficiary and the beneficiary should name the agent. In most cases the beneficiries name as their agent their foreign spouses (the petitioners).

Well I posted a question and got views, but no answer so I thought I'd see if any of you might help me on the right path, I'm thinking I'm just going to leave the Question 25 part blank and put in red ink "see transcripts for proof of non filing" and just put joint sponsors income at question 24 to be safe since I have not gone through a tax year yet and only had my new job since June. If anyone can just give me a thumbs up or thumbs down on this so I know I'm thinking in the right, I wouldn't want to get an RFE b/c of filling out AOS application wrong.

I'm going over my affidavit of support and confused myself into another conundrum.

I started a Job on June 1, 2010 never had a taxable job before so I never filed Tax returns, so I requested the last three years (2009,2008,2007) as proof of nonfiling which I have on hand.

I also have an employment letter listing my annual salary which is borderline under the poverty guidlines so I have a household joint sponsor "I-864A" to file along with my I-864.

My question is refering to Questions 23, 24 and 25 on form I-864

for #23. Do I put the annual income from my employment letter or leave it blank? as I have not worked a full tax year yet.

for #24. Depending on answer to #23 putting joint sponsors annual income vs. adding to my annual income thats on employment letter or just adding joint sponsor income in part c. total household income.

for #25. Based on the fact that I haven't filed a tax return how should I fill this area out? What I assumed myself is that I wouldn't check 1st box mentioning that I filed a tax return for past 3 years and that I would list the past 3 years and $0.00 for total income and check the bottom box? Is this correct?

Also I need a confirmation on my listed household size on Part 5 of I-864.

If I count me "sponsor", husband "beneficiary" and Household joint sponsor "Mother" that is 3 right based on the questions it asked me. I don't have any dependents (exception: hubby) and my mother can't claim my brother or sister anymore as dependents; my brother is away in the Navy and my sister does live in the same household, but not a dependent on a tax return so is the number still 3 based on the questions asked?
