My case got touched 10/1,10/3,10/4 and 10/6 , and still no NOA2 i started to get worried. did anyone had this many touches without an RFE ?

Hi guys, I came across this thread for May filers. My notice date was May 5 at CSC. I called the 800 number this morning and it said my petition for my husband got APPROVED yesterday! Just checked my email and my email notification was there too. I was so excited, I started to cry on my drive to work this morning. It has been a LOOOOONG wait for all of us and now it is nearing an end. Plus I'm leaving to see my hubby tomorrow! Icing on the cake B-) I pray for a fast and smooth process through NVC. And hopefully all of the May filers will have their loved ones home for Christmas.

Congratulations!!!! Good luck at NVC!

Minted hope you dont get RFE... We sent tons of evidence & we gathered some more for future. I heard that if you send lots of evidence they approve you fast. So far it didnt work 4 me!! :( Never trust what others say or never get excited when it's not the case.

I'm also disappointed my case got moved to CSC, at VSC ppl got approved with no expedite after 50 days. I excedeed that period by 80 days, we have more than double, almost triple... where is the fairness in the process. There is none!!! Also I know of a case who's been waiting for a year+, God.... Now that's major injustice!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

WANT MY NOA2, I WANT, I WANT... I DO LIKE BABIES NOW!! JUST KIDDING... BUT SOMETIMES FEEL LIKE DOING SO!! SHOULD I WRITE OUR CONGRESSMAN?? HAVENT DONE THAT YET...

I front loaded my petition with bonafides and still have more to show for interview, that for sure didn't speed things up lol I just hope I don't get an RFE because I know I sent everything I was suppose to and spent months figuring it out through research and only found this website after the fact meh, but it has still helped out tremendously with extra reference and others to talk to about the same issues.

I-130 approved today after 160 days!!!!

Such a relief to be able to get past CIS. On to the NVC... I just called my wife to tell her; we were both so down last night, venting our frustrations, cheering each other up by talking about what we're going to do when she gets here. We needed this. She sounded so happy just now, I can picture her face...

Minted, probably the petitioner, since the congressman/woman is really beholden to the petitioner. Not sure, though, the beneficiary could try it too!

Angelheart / Love is patient: I'm pulling for you both, hang in there.

Congrats on your NOA2 it must be a great relief and good luck for NVC are you ready for it? =)

Thank you!!! I am mostly ready for it. All documents are completed and signed, and translated and certified. Cash is in the bank waiting to leave me. Passport photos are on the way (8-12 days, gotta love the mexican post office). I have the NVC shortcuts bookmarked and have started calling for my case number even though they probably haven't received it yet...

I seriously don't understand why the NVC process can't all be done in the 5/6 months it's taking them to get the I-130's processed. Dumb redundancies. IMO it should go directly from CIS to the embassy. What else do they have to look at, what steps do they do that are different? Bah, it seems that getting the NOA2 has made me more impatient... lol.

Anyway, congrats to all the new NOA2 recipients!!!!!! :thumbs: Hopefully the rest of May people start coming around, since it seems they are finally winding down with all April applications.
