I'm back!! My brother bugged me.. wanted to use PC so couldnt finish previous post the way I wanted! Our engagement was magical, midnite with full moon on the beautiful emerald bridge. Couldnt get more romantic than that in my opinion!! Felt like we were writing history, our own history!! Felt time freezing. "The bridge" was perfect place for us because our love is like a bridge across a huge ocean, between two continents!! :luv:

Sounds romantic, and thats a good metaphor for love and it being a bridge that links together two hearts =)

Thanks Sachinky,

best of luck living here in the USA, I hope it'll be lots of happiness for you and your significant other. I enjoyed reading about your visa journey, it helps to read about others going through immigration and know that they survived it~ =)

I barely survived it. The stress of it nearly drove me bat-sh*t crazy. Now we're together again and it's easier to deal with things. It's nice to be back in the U.S. with my husband again--thanks for your good wishes.

I hope you have a smooth RFE-free process! Good luck!

Hey Richard&Elena,

It's good to hear from you again its been awhile, I'm happy to hear you got that whole petition mess sorted out, your diligence paid off  . How goes your preparedness for NVC you getting ready for it? Hope you have a safe and fun summer~

Jen and Geert

Hey Jen and Geert! Yes we have some news. Last update of our petitions is on June, 26th. I think they sent new NOW1 for my son. But we can see new NOW1 later because my husband is in the business trip until August. I prepared all papers for NVC but my husband has to do Affidavit. He can do it on August only. Now we both are very busy. That is way we do not hurry now. Hope we can do everything what is necessary. I wish you and everybody good luck!!!

Hey fellow May filers...being away hanging out with the March filers but I'm back now and i see a lot have been happening.

USCIS is currently approving March filers so no one in May has received NOA2 yet not even April filers.

Citizenship next step!

They are from Haiti. The earthquake has devastated that place not too long ago, so I guess maybe US has some sort of different policy. That's what me & my hubby thought!! 33 days or how many of waiting for them was such a short time, wooow.

Glad you had a good mini vacation, and I agree with the process I hope that it doesn't slow down anymore and will pick up its pace *fingers crossed*, because I really want to see my husband badly its been 5 months now, even though this hasn't been the longest we have been apart it feels like it probably because I'm tired of being separated from him, I think immigration is a legal form of torture, cruel and unusual punishment for us couples. :bonk:
