4-5 months max I can take, 3 months for me is ok, 2 is awesome, but I'm very afraid will be much more............ having in consideration the statistics. Was the same when you got approved? I'm curious. :help:

the USCIS website was putting out 5 month averages for processing when i applied in december. i got my NOA2 in february. so it took a lot less time than the website said it would!

now i am not sure how quickly they are moving along... :o

Yea it's really hot this summer, I don't enjoy the heat much even though I'm stuck working in it. My garden seems to be doing well though I started it a little late, but hopefully in a month I'll see some veggies growing, some of my pepper's are almost ready to be picked. =)

I'd love to be able to spend a day at the beach this summer maybe I might try to. Whats everyone else up to besides "immigration paperwork":whistle:

Hi there!

I am leaving for Chile next Thursday (a week from today) really missing my husband, so happy I'm going to spend 10 glorious days with him. Last time I saw him was in February of this year. :(

So to be productive I'm going to fill out forms DS 230 and choice of agent and have him sign them just to be ahead of the game. I will print about three of each just in case. I wont date until it's time. I will get and bring back all documentation I will need for NVC stage. I'm also going to bring him copies of everything I have sent out.

Am I missing anything? Let me know if I am..:help:

Thanks,

Emily(F)

You want some docs for NVC ?!?!??! OK !

DS-230 - http://travel.state.gov/visa/immigrants/info/info_3190.html

I-864 - http://travel.state.gov/visa/immigrants/info/info_3730.html

General NVC stuff - http://travel.state.gov/visa/immigrants/info/info_1335.html

a mini-how-to if using the online payment portal during NVC processing -

As a general rule-o-thumb, start getting the foreign spouse's civil documents when USC spouse has the NOA-2 in hand.

Sometimes my language usage seems confusing - please feel free to 'read it twice', just in case !
Ya know, you can find the answer to your question with the advanced search tool, when using a PC? Ditch the handphone, come back later on a PC, and try again.

you can do it by hand or computer either is okay!

you can even mix it up. if it doesn't fit with the computer you can fill that part in by hand. anything is okay really.

I did some docs by hand some by computer.

computer is probably better in case you want to make changes. be sure to print extras.
