No NOA1 a month after submitting ROC

An update, in case anyone is interested. I received the Biometrics letter dated 5/04/2010. That's a load off the shoulders, now just to make the Infopass appt. to get the extension.

Congrats! I can imagine the relief.

For what it's worth, letters from USCIS do seem to get lost every now and then. Not sure if thats a problem with them or with the US Postal Service (both, probably). I've had issues like yours during my AOS, very frustrating!

Why USCIS doesn't send important paperwork like GC's and extension letters via a reliable courier service is beyond me. I for one would be happy to pay an extra fee for them to use UPS (for instance).
