ok, here is my problem.. i got my GC on june 8th 2005 and my name was written wrong.. i called the hotline and the lady said that i gotta send the I-90 in with $70.00.. so i did.. well months later i get a letter to send my GC in.. so i sent it in last week.. now new problems.. my passport expired last year and i just got my new one and i dont know if i still need the 1-151 stamp? i wanna make a appt to get my stamp in my new passport BUT i dont have my GC anymore.. (cuz i sent it in last week).. can i go to the appt with my ID too? lol i dunno if that works.. my other questions is that i wanna fly home to visit my fam end of this year but i dunno how long it takes till i get my new GC..? thanks for the help :yes:

Not sure about your questions, but they shouldn't charge you $70 since the error was their fault!

I had the same problem in mine, where my last name was spelled wrong, they did not charge me. This was about 6 years ago, so may be things have changed now..
