I got my NVC case # today. then should I send DS3032 and OPTIN(for the electronic processing ) eamil to the NVCElectgrnoic@state.gov?

Cannot login to the payment paage anymore https://ceac.state.gov/CTRAC/Invoice/signon.aspx Additionally when I called they say our case is in "final review" as Darnell said, do not wait, send in your DS-3032 now with the OPTIN Request. There has been mixed reviews about if the OPTIN should be sent from your's or your wife's email address. When I called the NVC they said either one. So I DID send it from my email address. It was accepted about 7 days later.

From what I have read, No, it is for the agent of choice Only. I believe Guangzhou will not need this. I hope you are right. Our case has a twist to it... wife is about 3.5 months pregnant so I am hoping that they get this done as soon as possible. I called this morning and so far we need to wait more they said and should know something by next week, I hope. As far as timing goes: I first received our GUZ Number 13 April 2010. Sent in our OPTIN Request and DS-3032 on the 14th of April. On the 23rd of April, I was told our case has been converted to Electronic Processing ( I was seeing the wife in Guangzhou at the time) 28th of April I have our GZO Numbers and started to send in all documents. As of the 3rd of May, my wife's case is in "final review" now waiting..

Just thought I'd put in some of the timing I had to do.. Also, do not do Dan Dummy.. BEFORE Your hit that Send Button Be sure you check and double check the documents you attach. As Darnell told me too, be careful on the size of the email. NVC says they have no size limit to the emails, but I tried to get the file sizes down as much as possible.

Also, just do not sit by and wait for emails.. Me..... I have them on my speed dial and call three - four times a day.. WHY? we'll things changes quickly when you are doing Electronic processing. Also if you get a guy named Arthur...not helpful at all... Might want to spend 15 more minutes and call again. Most of the ladies I talk to there are pretty helpful..

I wish you best of luck.. I think the entire process is flawed but I do not want to get started on that. I only hope that the rest of the process goes quickly.. I want my kid born here.. I am sure it will be but with the wife being pregnant,, puts even more stress on the process.

I did not wait, I called one day later and I am still calling them so many times a day. I also have an stepdaughter now and we are just waiting on her documents to get done. The NVC did not get my first set of DS-230 and found out by calling. Then two days later received a "Checklist" email. But by then I already re-sent all DS-230 documents to them. So, what does this mean to me? CALL... I am not waiting on them for anything. I am staying proactive with NVC until I get our interview date. They may not like the fact that you call many times a day, but they are there to help you. If you get someeone who is not very helpful and you have the time, call back. Ask if they are familiar with the electronic processing. Many are not as Darnell has pointed out. But be persistant.

So call... Do not wait on them. I have also found out that things change from the morning to the afternoon..

I know you've already 'gone through' to the other side - but just for clarification -

after the OPT IN process is started, at some point, you'll have the AOS FEE BILL arrive in yer email -

pay that on the online portal.

Later, when the OPT IN is successful, the IV fee bill will show up to be paid. Pay that, wait a bit more,

then get all of the coversheets with the new GZO # on them, then prep yer emails and go go go !!
