he can go to the CFO seminar at PRISM....then once he gets his visa go to the CFO office to register and get the stamp. That is what my wife did...although she did it after her interview...either way she wouldnt have had her passport for the seminar itself.

With all things being equal, it's easy to go and take care of the briefing at PRISM and the CFO in the same day. In fact, we slept in, went in the afternoon, and still was able to get her CFO stamp by close of business.

It made sense to us to just do it at once after her interview --

The PRISM and CFO staff can be a little maarte depending on the person, so mileage varies with information garnered from them. The whole process is actually kind of ridiculous. Philippino government at its best.

My girl did the CFO seminar right after her St Luke's medical. Without her passport because St Luke's kept her passport. She did it at PRISM CFO and was done in about 3 hrs. She's going get her sticker today. Even if you take the Seminar at PRISM or at St Mary's....you still must go to another office for your sticker. My girl took it in Manila because she lives in Cebu and their CFO lasts all day, from 8 am - 4 pm.

No need for appointment at PRISM. Just show up and have ID and some of the same documents needed for interview (NBI, CENOMAR, NSO Birth Certificate, etc).

I suggest that it's better to get ur CFO after u recieve ur visa. Do it in St. Mary's in Q.C. take only half day for the seminar and sticker.

yeah St. Mary's is ok for someone that lives out that way, but PRISM is closer for the people that have to travel to St. Lukes and the Embassy. My wife was done in like 2 hours at PRISM and then went back to the CFO after her visa and was done in less than an hour.

Merlaine went and got her seminar done at PRISM yesterday before her medical or interview. After they deliver her visa she'll leave a day early on her way here so she has time to get the sticker in Manila.

Yes, he can. But be sure that your fiance bring everything with him specially if he's doing the seminar at PRISM. They're a bunch of dummies.

I've been told that it is recommended to take everything that is in the Interview package. I have heard that they will ask for original copies of divorce decrees, pictures, birth certificates, all that jazz. I agree it's a load of #######. How could a Filipino be good enough to enter the US on a visa, but NOT good enough to leave the Philippines...Makes no sense. Just one more way of the Filipino Government to get it's hands in your pockets before their citizens leave that messed up country.
