I know! Omg, I am so relieved..

Of course if you think about it is kinda absurd that I just paid $320 to get a small piece of paper that I will be surrendering at my interview 10 days from when I got it

But hey I will gladly hand it over at the interview if it means we are approved

Okay, that info pass was a waste of my time. I knew more about whats going on with my case than the lady behind the window. However, I am kinda a piece right now because I know I tried everything possible make this process move faster. I guess i'm just back to waiting. The last thing I got on June 15TH said expect a decision in 60days so I guess I got 30days to hear something. The appointment took 3mins and i think she just went to the webpage and put in the receipt number and told me what it said.....LOL

I got my AP in the mail today. Can't use it so it doesn't really matter... But iiiiuuuuu I was ugly on that photo!! I mean they had stamped it right over the face, but anyway I guess the same photo will be on my EAD & GC Hope I never have to show it to anyone haha!

Hahaha! What does AP look like anyway? How come you can't use it? What are the reasons one can't use AP?

I didn't apply for AP actually because I'm not sure that I can use it.

I'm not out status, but the visa I used to enter already expired, so I just thought that AP would be useless for me..

I got two documents (they both look the same) Similar to the other letters they send out and on the bottom of each page there is a photo of me and a box the same size as the photo next to it where I believe they will stamp once you enter or leave the country.

I was out of status, so that is why I can't use it. My attorney applied for it anyway, and at that time I didn't know I wouldn't be able to use it.

Its like the Jamaicans aren't getting any interview letters(mimi 0418 and tuts 8017)judging fom the time lines. Its very discouraging I filed AOS in may got an RFE dont have all the dates..sent mine in on 6/26/10 they recieved it on 6/29/10 but last touch on AOS was 7/02/10 .Last touch on EAd was 6/07/10.

tsk tsk SMH I wanna work so bad..Dont these people wanna get taxes and people to live comfortable live...?

Welcome Gingabear! Looks like you're on the same time line as me and Leigh Ann when it comes to the RFE at least. They received my RFE and resumed my case on 6/28 and my last touch on AOS was 7/01/10 and I got my interview letter 2 days ago. Leigh Ann is still waiting. So you should probably get yours soon.

Welcome Gingabear...Tell me about it..I have had so many obstacles with this case and it is totally not my fault its ridiculous..but still have faith in the system...Judging from the timeline of others I think I can expect the interview letter in two weeks to a month...hopefully

Well i'm waiting, but its so hard.. I'm out of my comfort zone, having a woman taking care of me paying the bills etc. Wanting to go out and can't do it because of the budget being tight.. I want my own car, new clothes... LOL being in the U.S where all of these r availible and can't acess it because of limitations sucks..

Is is it me or I notice the Jamaican applicants r not getting any responses.. @ Hoppla and MImi?

I know, the wait is very frustrating! I don't think it depends on the country of the applicant, if it did I would already have my GC, being from Sweden Not that many immigrants from Sweden. I think it depends on the circumstances of the case, as well as the different officers and of course what state and city you are in.
