No, I knew they would leave a voicemail, and I didn't want to hear the news from them, I wanted to find out myself first :D They said to come in about a week before the interview to prepare, but I'm not bringing them to the interview. It costs $200 extra and they have already gotten too much of my money grrrr... and besides I think it was Besa (or someone else of the April filers) who said that the people that were there at the same time as them and brought attorneys were seperated for their interview.

Our appointment is on August 17 at 12.15pm!!! :)

Hopefully they will be in a rush to leave for lunch and not too hungry and grumpy!

Really?! I don't think that's how it's supposed to go - I think people have a right to their attorneys, but maybe not for AOS. If your case is straightforward, I'm not sure there's any point anyhow.

Really?! I don't think that's how it's supposed to go - I think people have a right to their attorneys, but maybe not for AOS. If your case is straightforward, I'm not sure there's any point anyhow.

It is not how it is supposed to be, but I guess some of the IO's see it as a red flag. My case is not really straight forward (I overstayed and had several different visas before) but I don't think it is nothing that we cannot handle ourselves.

My EAD got touched everyday since the 9th

the fifth touch on EAD today, it got touched basically everyday and move the order date from the 9th to the 14th

i hope it meant they sent it out , now a day i got confused with their mess up online system :)

would we got email that they mailed it out already or just wait??

In a perfect world (not USCIS' world) we would receive an email (if you signed up for that on their website) but it seems as it differs from case to case.

Okay, we just got the official "EAD has been mailed" notice.

Application Type: I765 , APPLICATION FOR EMPLOYMENT AUTHORIZATION

Current Status: Approval notice sent.

On July 15, 2010, we mailed you a notice that we have approved this I765 APPLICATION FOR EMPLOYMENT AUTHORIZATION. Please follow any instructions on the notice. If you move before you receive the notice, call customer service at 1-800-375-5283.

So I guess NOW is when we should have started the waiting. ;) This is the third notification we got, but we had more touches than that since it was ordered produced.

USCIS has been really active this week - at least for the May filers! If we could just get the interview letter...

ETA: the blue dote just went back to the post-decision activity. Bizarre, for sure.
