Got my 2nd update on EAD today and they touched my AP again. I don't care about the AP at all, not sure why my lawyer filed for it. I'm an overstay so I won't/can't use it anyway. This time I got both an email and a text though about the EAD, last time I got neither....not a very reliable system (as we have said about 100 times now) :)

Seriously....it's kind of crazy how unreliable it is.

We got a notification the first time we got approval for the EAD, but nothing for the several touches/updates after that.

Married - 3/12/10

AOS Filed - 5/13/10

Biometrics received - 6/5/10

Biometrics done - 6/9/10

RFE Received 6/10/10

Touched - 6/7/10, 6/16/10, 6/17,10 (all)

I'm taking it you meant your card production was ordered two days after you requested an expedite. How/When did you requested the expedite. I've tried it twice including using the congress office and seem to be getting nowhere.

Tuts, I'm in the same situation. I requested an expedite on July 1 and I have only received an email the next day. After that nothing has happened to my case, still on initial review. It hasn't been updated or touched, and it shows that the last update was on May 27.

APPROVED after 66 days from the day paperwork was sent! No more USCIS for awhile :)

The online system is very unreliable. Don't worry about it! My I-130 has been on initial review since they first got it.

I am so excited they finally ordered the EAD. Now I wait some more for it in the mail. It seems like people get a few touches before they actually receive it. Lets wait and see. :whistle:
