Nope, no letter today either :(

I used to check the mail every day without any luck. Then the one day I don't check the mail, my husband found the interview letter waiting in the mail box. That's how it always goes, isn't it?

Hey that's sort of true for me too! My interview letter got delivered when I was away and couldn't check my mailbox!

Okay Good Morning Fellow Mayer's

Just venting a lil frustration today ...its been over a month now since we have been touched , starting to feel neglected lol ... And we still havent had a touch on my step sons I130 ... My wife is saddened by not being able to get her son here sooner ...Skype is working for now but she just wants to hold him ... I know this process can put a strain on everyone ... Im just hoping with our interview being less then 3 weeks away that Hopefully we get approved and then my step sons petition will move forward ...trying to get him here by Sept for the school year starting or sooner ...okay I guess im done whining for now ..... Sorry for being a Debbie Downer just had to get it out i guess ...LOL

That is why this forum is here, to have a place to vent. It makes it a lot easier that we are all going through the same process (with some small differences). I don't think you will get another touch until after the interview, the system is very unreliable (and new?) so I wouldn't worry too much about the touches and/or the blue dots. Is her son on the same petition as her (your wife)? As I don't have kids I'm not sure how that process works.

Just hang in there! It will be okay in the end, if it's not okay, it's not the end :)

Yes, and Nico's. I feel guilty because mine went all according to plan, even though I should have gotten an RFE. You guys got the short end of the stick.

Thank you for the support! I thought I was getting the interview letter sooner since I was the first one to get the bio letter but I guess now I will be the last one to get the interview. Hopefully today... if not, then tomorrow.

I obviously don't know what it must be like for you guys. But I imagine something along the lines of frustation if I can't be with my child.. Aw, you're not being a debbie downer. It's a confusing process where they keep you in the dark and so you're allowed to vent!

Hope your whole family will be reunited soon..

No her sons petition was separate cause she is here and he is in Manila ...had they both been here then we could have filed on same petition .... its the spur of the moment wedding thing , had we actually planned it he would have been here ....But you do crazy things when your in love ...LOL
