I think your Naturalization documents will be ok

Eek, I don't know about this. It specifically states "Your petitioner's Birth Certificate and your petitioner's evidence of United States Citizenship or Lawful Permanent Resident status" so I think she'd be better off trying to get one, so there is less chance of a delay for her approval.

I have mine split into 4 categories:

Immigration correspondence (interview letter, all I-797s I have received, biometrics letter, emails from NVC)

ID (birth certificates, marriage certificate, divorce decrees, police record and court record)

Financial (I-864, W-2, 1099, letter of employment, pay stubs, etc.)

Proof (BIG section, will likely put photos into a photo album yet to be purchased)

Do you have to bring police record/court record for the USC or is this only for the immigrant? Also, what type op police/court records? Like traffic tickets and how far back in time?

Only for the immigrant. I had a DUI (which is where the lawyer did not do her research for the CR-1, even though I TOLD her the only reason we needed a lawyer was because I had a criminal record *rant over*). For traffic tickets you don't need one, just for criminal record-type stuff.

To be fair, the letter says "if you have been arrested" so, theoretically, if the immigrant has been arrested over anything, whether or not they were convicted, you are supposed to bring evidence. I have only heard of this being an issue with criminal records, though.

Yup, just the immigrant.

My USC used to be trouble, too, but he never got caught. Damn him. Now he holds it over my head! biggrin.gif

Its better to dress in a semi-formal outfit. Im wearing dress pants (pin-striped) and a blouse (black of course)... Dont reveal too much but not casual at all

Glad I could give my 2 cents :D
