Really weird the e-mail i got it says:

"We received your request to expedite the decision on your application. Your case is currently under review. You will receive a decision or notice of further action shortly."

well they are different maybe because that's the second time you try to expedite your EAD ,

okay, my situation just got a little worst. I went to the store and got pulled over for going 37 in a 25 and my tint is too dark, I got two tickets. I got a chance on the driving on expired license..Thank God...this sucks another $250 in fines and possible problems with my filing and I'm already broke and stressed. Does anyone knows how bad this will affect me if any.

What do you mean by you got a chance? Did you get of with just a warning for that one, I hope?

minor moving violations like speeding tickets shouldn't affect you at all.

Congratulations to everyone that has received their interview letter.

I'm still waiting for mine... tomorrow 40 days since receiving the biometrics letter.

Yes (if the approve you) you will get the GC in about 2 weeks I believe. I recommend you read the March & April filers forum because they are going through this now and it can answer a lot of your questions.

I don't know, but I don't think this should affect your case with the USCIS at all. It is just a traffic ticket, almost everyone has those. Going to court for traffic tickets is something I will never understand about the US. When I become President I will stop that nonsense, can you imagine how much money the government would save?

Go to court is not that bad because somethimes you have a last chance to get alway of the ticket if you didn't do anything wrong, there are bad cops out there that just wanna fill their monthly quotas.

It is for the sponsor's (my husband) last tax return and W2's (2009). It would be easy if it wasn't for the fact that he didn't file any taxes for 2009 or 2008. He is a full-time student and doesn't work. We have a joint sponsor and they were apparently satisfied with her tax returns. We had sent a statement explaining why there were no tax returns for my husband because that is what my attorney told us to do, but it wasn't enough. So we are trying to get a letter of verification of non-filing from IRS but they keep making it difficult, will make another try to go to IRS tomorrow.

I guess you're right. It just annoys me that sometimes you go and they just tell you that the case has been dismissed, I think they could have called and let you know that so you would save time and they would save time, time is money I've never had to go but have friends who have been through exactly that. I guess I will start with removing the quotas, another ridiculous thing I don't understand

Oh weird. Ours was kind of like a letter. At the top it had my address etc. and then it had "on x date, you requested a verification of non-filing."

Then some other stuff, and then it said, "this can be considered proof of non-filing" (or something like that). Then some other stuff, and then it was signed by an IRS official. I don't have it with me or I'd tell you more exactly what it said, but it was like a letter - and it looked like a response to a request.

I want my interview letter according to the theorem, but I got an RFE too - sigh! Hope it's one of the ones that still comes at the right time. Also, hope I can send it back on Monday! Still need to get in touch w/ my atty though....

It looks like that might have been what we got for 2008. We're going back today to get it for 2009, since they didn't get that one right. I will send the letters incl. transcripts for 2008 & 2009 and the transcript for 2007 (just to be sure) and his official transcripts in a sealed envelope. In the cover letter I have explained that he is a full-time student and was not employed or earned an income and was not required to file taxes. That should be enough, don't you think?

Update to the spreadsheet - only one change, squirrely's interview (yay, squirrely!). I hope we have a whole bunch more interviews to add this week. 4/23 couples have interviews so far.
