Just talked to Ray at the post office in Lee's Summit. He really IS really really nice!

Thanks again cbrniner for the tip

So my RFE response got there and he said USCIS will come around 4pm to pick up mail. Yaaaay..

hoping that my case will resume processing soon

Those of you sending via express mail just so you know, the tracking thingy @ USPS.com will tell you there has been a delivery attempt and a notice was left. Also says that if the letter/item is not claimed within 5 days it gets sent back to sender.

I freaked out for about 10 seconds before I called the post office

SO..

Apparently that is not what happens. USCIS actually told USPS that everything have to be scanned that way but they don't actually do a delivery attempt or leave a notice.

Thought I'd try to safe some of you from future confusion ;)

Did you try increasing the radius/distance for the search?

Maybe there is another IRS office a little farther way from you?

hi im a newbie and i guess im a may filer too. Im waiting too. I hope no RFE...

I have questions I hope you guys can help me. I had 2 kids from previous marriage. MY ex husband and me were separated sice early 2008.were having problems since 2006. He filed for divorce on 10/2008 but the divorce was final on july 2009.I met my present husband aug 2008.we got along and decided not to leave, we see each other everyday, He want to marry me but he knew that my divorce is not final. We had a baby together on aug 2009, but were so busy with the baby that we did not got married till early march. now our baby is 8 months old,

by the way we been living together since early 2009.

Do you think im gonna have a problem at the interview since i had kids on my previous marriage. My kids right now is at my parents outside USA because my baby was born with club foot and I really need to focus on her right now since the doctor is doing their best to correct her foot.she had more than 7 cast that since she was 5 days old, now she wearing a brace and special shoes.

Im, just worried they are gonna ask me why my 2 kids are not with me. will it be a problem? Im worried that they will deny me because of that.

On my interview can I bring my baby we have no relatives here but im worried that securities will not allow my baby to go in since she is wearing a brace.

Hello again everybody. I never had the time to go online because of my baby , after my last touched which is may 19, i never received anything on my email, my case was never touched, but today i got a letter for interview on july 13. my question is no news on ead yet, should i be concern about that?

I got my interview letter before my ead appproval?

and my interview in at 1 in the afternoon they said morning is better, should i be concern?

My interview letter only means that even though they are not updating our case online, they are working on it so im pretty sure that you guys are gonna receive your interview letter eventhough they dont "touch" us.

Congrats!!!

And no, I wouldn't be concerned about no EAD at this point.

I have seen people whose EADs get approved after getting GC. I've even seen somebody's EAD denied after GC.

As long as your interview goes well and you get approved, you don't need the EAD

GC trumps EAD any day!

Please post and let us know how your interview goes :)
