I did my biometrics today I got there about 2pm and the security guard said that they still had some people in line but if I came back at 3pm they would have time for me, so I did and I was the ONLY one there (South Dallas office). I only brought my bio letter and my NOAs but the only thing they asked for was my bio letter and my driver's license. She took two pictures (because I asked for a second one ) and didn't say anything about my ears showing or not. I almost forgot to take my sunglasses off my head and when I mentioned it she looked at me like it didn't matter They were really nice. So happy to have this step done

Sorry 1500528 I thought you might have abandoned us. Wow, I am surprised you don't have the bio letter yet. The waiting in this process sucks.

Frankly, not as bad as doing the CR-1, in which you had to wait months for every step (especially the NOA2, which took me 4.5 months), but still. I am SO sick of waiting for everything! And why does my mail come in the late afternoon, why can't it be in the morning so I can get the disappointment over with?

Finally , our Bio is today ...at least this time I think they cant reject us since we have an appointment ...LOL Got our RFE sent back out yesterday express mail , so hopefully it will be in there hands today and this process can pick back up with some steam to get it done ...LOL Hope evryone is have a good day ..

Are you expecting an RFE ??? from your time it seems your last Touch was because of your Bio ....Maybe you have passed the RFE stage .... I am hoping since they sent this one to us that there shouldnt be another ....I probably gave them more then they needed including a joint sponsor cause on my RFE since I didnt have my 2009 tax form they said my income didnt meet the 125 percent level , though I know it would on the tax form but included a joint sponsor just to make sure there wouldnt be anymore issues when it came to the 864 .....

Yeah, we only had the 2008 taxes, didn't have 2009 yet, and really thought I would get one for that. Well, fingers crossed they decided to pass it through anyway!

I'm, crossing my fingers for both of us on that. I'm expecting one for the same reason... I have heard that they can send RFE's at any time during the process (or until you receive the interview letter I guess) and I have not had any touches since May 25. Should have one for the bio soon hopefully...

So much for crossing my fingers Just got an email saying that they sent me a RFE for the I-485 today...hoping it is only the 2009 taxes for my joint sponsor since I already have them ready. What pi**es me off is that I had those and offered them to my attorney and they said it wasn't necessary. Just called them and asked them to let me know as soon as they receive the RFE by email, I also let them know that I'll be a liiiiiittle bit annoyed if it is for the 2009 taxes. As for the good news today I got a touch on my I-765, probably because I did my bios yesterday.

Urgh that bites. If it is, I would have words with the lawyer, starting with suggesting a small refund for causing a delay in your case.

Yes, I certainly will. It is ridiculous since I did offer the 2009 taxes more than once, last time while being in the office days before they sent my application. Have to check and see if they already cashed my last check and if not, I will see if I can cancel it for now until I know more.

AH, you are adjusting from a K-1 visa. I got excited there for a sec.

Some K-1's don't have to do an interview; their file gets transferred to CSC and eventually a green card just gets issued sans interview. Congratulations! Check in the other forum, though, I seem to remember hearing that CSC had slowed down and this didn't necessarily help with the overall timelines for the AOS process...

I got an email for an RFE too -- I am not sure for what.... we sent the taxes I am not sure what it could be.. I have to wait and find out
