Oh wow, I had understood that that A# followed you for life, that it didn't change for a different type of visa! Sorry, I was totally misinformed then. blink.gif

Yes, That's what I tought too. But when I went there (for Biometrics) I could not remember the my A# from EAD so I wrote down the SSN# but the lady there took it out and wrote the new A# from the BIO NOA :unsure: and she said that was my A# now :bonk:

OK, most of us have received our biometrics appointments, and some have done walk-ins. I think maybe we have lost meijie, Piccolacarina, and 1500528. Squirrely and barcelona are still waiting for the bio appt, but I'm sure they will have it this week! immi267 I have no info on...hmmmm.

Well got our RFE yesterday , it didnt come till late in the day so we missed express shipping , we went this morning to send it back and sent it express mail ... Bio is tomorrow - Question will they still take Bio with an RFE pending ??? Hopefully this thing can get back on track ...or at least it should right ???

Do not forget to bring all the letters you have received since you sent your package.

I've heard that in some places they ask for the marriage license also, keep that in mind just in case ... :thumbs:

It doesn't matter, I wouldn't think, how do you normally wear it? I would go with that, since the pic taken at bio is used on your EAD and green card.

It doesn't.

Do not forget to bring all the letters you have received since you sent your package.

I've heard that in some places they ask for the marriage license also, keep that in mind just in case ... :thumbs:

Oh yeah, I took my marriage license because my passport is in my maiden name and my AOS papers are in my married name.

I have long and a little curly hair and with that crazy humid weather looked like lion and the lady didn't say anything about my ears, actually she took like 3 pics and asked me to chose the one I liked the most!

I did my biometrics today :dance: I got there about 2pm and the security guard said that they still had some people in line but if I came back at 3pm they would have time for me, so I did and I was the ONLY one there (South Dallas office). I only brought my bio letter and my NOAs but the only thing they asked for was my bio letter and my driver's license. She took two pictures (because I asked for a second one ;) ) and didn't say anything about my ears showing or not. I almost forgot to take my sunglasses off my head and when I mentioned it she looked at me like it didn't matter :o They were really nice. So happy to have this step done :)
