Congrats to everyone who got interview letters!!

I received my approval notice for my I-130 today...no EAD or interview letter...bummer but very very happy about the notice

Maybe that means there will be an interview letter soon!

You received approval on your I-130 without an interview? Was your case moved to the California Center or did you come here on a K-1 visa? Or did you mean your I-131 (Advance Parole)? Anyway, congrats!

I really dont know what happened but today I received a notice saying that my I-130 has been approved and the petititon indicates that I am in the United States so I can now apply for AOS which I did, I really dont get USCIS so I waiting to see what comes next. I came here on a B2 visa

Well congrats to everyone that has had progress...thanks for all the well wishes and prayers that got me my recent progress. Still no interview letter and hope I receive my EAD this week. I start working on monday. Also found out i'm going to have to retake the driving and written test for my drivers license because my last one expired more that 6 months ago.

Someone ask a question about the Joint sponsor original info being needed at the interview, not sure why it would but I'll be looking for the educated answer for that question seeing I also have an joint sponsor.

I was the one asking about the joint sponsor and the original docs. I was hoping to hear from someone that had already had their interview, but not yet. Someone made me start to think about it bc they asked in the April filers thread. The response we got their was that it would be best to bring it, but I still want to hear from someone who knows for sure. I'll let you know if I do.

My friend did get approved without an interview, and he didn't come here on a K-visa, so it can happen. You never know... I think he said he thought he got approved right away bc of all the evidence they sent in with the application.

For approved applications/petitions, post-decision activity may include USCIS sending notification of the approved application/petition to the National Visa Center or the Department of State. For denied applications/petitions, post-decision activity may include the processing of an appeal and/or motions to reopen or reconsider and revocations.

Do you'll think they mailed it. Seeing it was already ordered on the 23rd

YES!!!!! This means they actually put it in the mail, it should be there in a few days! I got mine in 3 days from this notice. Congratulations!!! I'm so happy for you! :dance: My prayers are so powerful

That is seriously bizarre, but looks like a good sign so congrats!

Now come on interview letter.....but I can wait just as long as it comes this year.....lol

That was our approach too. It'll come, though it may take some time. Hope it comes soon though to alleviate wondering about the process...

So so happy for you that you finally got the notice that the EAD has been mailed!!!!!

Took them long enough!

I'm not positive but I think that the approval itself means that you can start working.

I believe you have up to 90 days after you start working to show your employer the EAD card itself.

But yeah.. hope you get it this week!
