Congrats fagos!!

How are you guys liking the updated Case Updates circles on the USCIS website?

I think it's about time they added a "RFE review" circle and separated the Oath & Card Production tabs. They also only show circles that are related to the case filed... so no more Oath Ceremony when you file for an EAD, etc!

Maybe this is why their website has been unreliable lately?

good luck

We had our interview today. The officer said he approves us but the final decision is up to the supervisor. He took my I-94 but he didn't stamp my passport. He said I should have the conditional green card within 30 days.

It was an easy and short interview. I guess our case was straightforward. We have been together for 3 years, living together in the same apartment for 2 years and we had tons of evidence with us. But he did not bother to see most of it... It was funny when he suddenly stopped the interview, turned to his computer and said that he is approving us.

For anyone wondering, at least in the San Diego Field Office, I was able to bring inside the building a laptop and containers with our lunch.

Good luck everyone!

Congrats! Thanks for sharing!!

I guess they are working on it, NBC is so slow... I want the GC but if I could get the EAD, it would make life a million times better. I hope this gets the person working on it to review it again, kind of bump it up or something..

Well, I barely even go into the Canadian forum anymore, there is so much bitterness towards the people who AOS'd from a tourist visa. I am sorry your K-1 took so long. Get over it. Other people have other factors to take into account and end up going a different way. Reading people say that our process should take longer really p1zzes me off. Hey, I'd prefer that the K-1 go faster. And the CR-1. Don't penalize me because of different processing lines.

They don't tell you anything else than what is already on the website, most times they actually just read off the website. There is a 1-800 number on the notices they send you but you have to either report a problem or ask for a form in the automatic system and to get to a human.

I know right? Like when people from the previous month of AOS filers get mad at the next month filers because their cases move faster. It is no one's fault. There is just no logic to the USCIS process, that is just how it is. Accept it, because we can't do anything about it.

I hope I get approved tomorrow. I am so going to rub it in some people's faces.

I might need sleep or something, I seem to be cranky today. Ah well, we are going to the MLS game tonight, so I should destress there! Hubby is under specific instructions to not drink too much, and the friends we are sitting with are under strict instructions to cut me off at 2 and him off at 4. laughing.gif

On top of the interview, we are moving Saturday and I have been packing and organizing for that. The whole week has been just a bit too busy.

so I checked my updates today as you all know I check like five times a day and between the hours of 1 and 4 pm a new column was put in, when you enter your receipt number to check case status...Its is named REQUEST FOR EVIDENCE RESPONSE REVIEW and thats where my case is..:lol: thats all I got...I was hoping to see something more dramatic than that...

Also I called USCIS this morning asking about my EAD and they said most likely I will get it before August 3rd since the office I filed with has a three month deadline for dealing with EAD cases.

Its only a couple days so I am gonna be patient or at least try to be and see what happens if not then they can be pretty sure I will be calling on August 4th

Congrats to all who have passed there interview and Good luck to all those who have pending this week!!! :goofy::goofy:
