EAD 2nd card production today..

LOL I know right. I should be dying for a touch or something on the i-485 but at the same time am also going crazy waiting for the 3rd card production notice or something for my EAD. Anything will do..*sigh* how I hate waiting :angry:

I actually got a missed call from USCIS today. How weird is that. I didnt know you get calls. I cant figure out what it would have been for. When I tried calling back, it said I had reached the uscis office in orlando (where I filed) and it had a gazillion options to choose from and I just couldnt be bothered plus I wasnt home yet. Anybody ever received a call or know of such?? :wacko:

okay...maybe I'm being impatient but does anyone thinks its wired that I haven't got my interview letter or an EAD production yet. VJ EAD processing time says they are process applications filed on May 16th 2010 and the average day between bio and EAD approval is 33days. I fall within both those stipulations. I file on may 7th and its been about 40 days since my bio.

Do you think I should be worried, because I am.

I do think it is weird, but I'm not sure you need to worry. What is your local office (I might have asked you that already)? I know some offices are slower like NYC, Atlanta & Dallas. I got my first EAD approval notice after 36 days I think.

Ah ok, could that be why? I mean that your local office is also the National Benefit Center so they are busier than other local offices. 36 days from the walk-in bio til my first EAD notice on the website.

We had our interview today. The officer said he approves us but the final decision is up to the supervisor. He took my I-94 but he didn't stamp my passport. He said I should have the conditional green card within 30 days.

It was an easy and short interview. I guess our case was straightforward. We have been together for 3 years, living together in the same apartment for 2 years and we had tons of evidence with us. But he did not bother to see most of it... It was funny when he suddenly stopped the interview, turned to his computer and said that he is approving us.

For anyone wondering, at least in the San Diego Field Office, I was able to bring inside the building a laptop and containers with our lunch.

I agree.. this is my thinking too. It stinks for you, but the fact that the MSC/NBC is your local office probably has something to do with it.

Congrats fagos!!

How are you guys liking the updated Case Updates circles on the USCIS website?

I think it's about time they added a "RFE review" circle and separated the Oath & Card Production tabs. They also only show circles that are related to the case filed... so no more Oath Ceremony when you file for an EAD, etc! :thumbs:

Maybe this is why their website has been unreliable lately?
