I'm a May filer. My attorney sent the AOS packet April 29th. I'm waiting for the NOA and checks to be cashed and I have noooo patience at all, so this group will make the wait easier hopefully :)

Found out my lawyer did not send my papers in the day I thought she did. She says 'miscommunication'. I say that the woman they have filling out forms and taking messages, etc. is 'incompetent'. So, they should have gone off today. I will go off on her if they didn't. mad.gif

Can you see the copy of the check scanned? They usually have the case number on the back of the check as well. ;)

Yes, I can see the copy and it has a MSC# on the back of it, but I don't know how to check the status online. Is that the number I enter when trying to check my case status MSC......? I tried that and it say that they cannot find/show my case at that time. Does it normally take some time before you can see it online or am I doing it wrong? Thanks!!!

I really don't know what to tell you. I can't see my check yet there. I heard that the back of the check has the case number. I will let you know what mine has. Maybe the case does not show yet online, may take a few days. :blink:

did anyone file form g-1145(e-notification of application/petition acceptance)??

I asked my attorney to file that form and I believe they did, but they are the ones receiving the email not me (they said they would forward every email to me). When I can see my case online I will sign up for email and txt message notifications.

ValerieA, I wished I would have found this forum before I signed up for an attorney since it seems as most people are able to file by themselves. Now there is an extra step in the process since my lawyers get all the notices and I have to wait for them (read, call them and ask since I have no patience) to let me know when they have received something. I'm just hoping that they sent everything and filled it out correctly so I don't get a RFE bc of them.
