The title is misleading. It implies that Palin is telling us to "trust the oil industry" when she really said "she’d still wants “our country to be able to trust the oil industry.”". Two different things. One is a statement the other is a goal or wish. All in all I find nothing wrong with what she said. Energy security is a key to prosperity.

Thats just him putting a little "spin" on the ball.

I guess we all do it in different ways.
