Can i apply for the Citizenship if my wife AF reserve

Hello Everybody.

I would like to know if i can apply for the citizenship right now . i have my green card now and it will expired in NOV this year and i have to remove the conditional . i want instead to remove the conditional to apply for my US citizen , when i was reading to get some info i notice if my spouse work under the government i don't have to wait 3 years . my wife she in the Air Force reserve . so now i can apply for my US citizen instead removing the conditional or they have required for that .

have yer wife contact the military immigration liason's office and inquire.

I think you couldn't apply for USC yet. You have to get your 10 yrs green card before you could apply for USC. :)

Reserve won't work, your wife needs to be in the active duty to be eligible.

Even if the wife got activated, he won't be eligibale unless she has military orders to go overseas on a (command sponsored status) or on a deployment for at least 1 year.

This sound fair. Im joing the Mil as well and still have to follow the rules. I cant just jump from 2 yrs conditonal green card to USC and forgot about the removal. Even if Im joining they may just accelerate the process little bit and that's all.

Don't forget to send in I-751 in the time period of 90 days before the expiration of your conditional card.
