The local library showed Avatar this weekend for free.

We went there and I have to admit I almost fell asleep

about 10 times in the beginning - because I felt the

"many shades of blue" lulling me to sleep.

I did remain awake for the latter half but the beginning

got me thinking that with all that technology, couldn't

they come up with a better color scheme?

I couldn't help thinking about Richard Harris'

masterful performance in "A Man Called Horse"

- now THAT's entertainment!

The movie script certainly wasn't very originial. I kept getting up and walking into the other room. I couldn't stay interested in it. My husband enjoyed it though.

I thought the special effects were great.. you felt like you were a part of that world, we saw it in 3D..

but they stole the story from Pocahontas :P....they just updated it a little bit...
