I sent in my I-129f on may 10th for a K-3 visa, and am waiting on approval. However I received a letter from the national benifits center stating that my application was moved to the california service center for more rapid prosessing. I just wanted to see if anyone had any experience with this, and should I be worried. Also I was told originally it would be 60-90 days for prosessing and now 90-180 days since the transfer.

That seems unusual. Whilst I-129F for a fiance and I-130's are being transferred to CSC from other service centers, the I-129F for a spouse has different requirements then it does for a fiance. I can just imagine the confusion that may create for the personel at CSC

Few questions. Had you filed the I-130 prior to submitting the I-129F? Did you mistakenly submit proof of having met, as is required if filing for a fiance? Sorry, just trying to get a handle on what is happening as this is the first I have heard of files being transferred for a spouse from the NBC

I had filed previosly for a K-1 visa in sept of 2005, but my wifes father has cancer so we had a wedding for him. I talked to the embassy and refiled for a K-3 since we are now married. I filed the I-130 on may 2nd and sent a copy of my noa1 with the I-129f. I also sent a copy of our marriage cert, a letter of explanition, and a copy of the previously filed I-129f that I recived from the embassy in Honduras per their instructions. In mid June I recived a letter saying in order to speed processing they transfered my case to the CSC.

Also when I recived my Noa1 from the NBC under case type it said I-129f- petition for Fiance(e)/Spouse, but now everything I resive only says Fiance(e)
