BY, this is a perfect example. You believe that there is something endemic in African Americans that makes them more prone to engage in criminal activity. I am not sure how to explain to you any more clearly that this is a discriminatory and prejudiced opinion to hold.

No, my opinion is not that the problems of inner cities as they pertain to both African Americans and other residents that it is 'no big deal'.

If you could focus simply on those who are responsible, then fine, but focusing on a demographic/ethnic group because you feel they are 'responsible' is discrimination and prejudice.

Um it's a thread about banners and signs protesters are holding. You are the one who has come here like Cleo crying about these posters. Neither Danno nor I are holding these posters mate.

That isn't the point. The point is that you are selecting and posting these things to advance your own preconceived ideas as well as an agenda of prejudice.

I get that the images are disturbing, but what purpose is served by individuals scouring google for random images and posting the most provocative ones they can find?

It does nothing to inform the debate about illegal immigration and serves only to reveal the prejudices of the people posting them.

It shows exactly how stupid some of these protesters are, I think they need to be exposed for the idiots they are. There has been plenty of Tea Party pics and you or MC has never complained in this manner.

Why do you think these idiots shouldn't be exposed?

I see, unfortunately for you, I have not seen too many gang bangers in Calcutta or other poor countries. For you to sit here and pretend the gang banging thuggery in those communities has nothing to do with culture and just circumstances is laughable. It honestly shows that you are n denial of reality. So why the homicide rate? Can you explain that oh wise one? Or are you just going to beat around the same bush and accuse others of being wrong or prejudiced/racist/bigots?

The problem right there is you make wild assumptions about the beliefs of others that have no basis in fact other than some inner monologue telling you that it *must* be true. Also that simply saying "you never complained in this manner" means that your recollections about other threads are both correct and accurate.

If you had read what I said, I made no specific mention of the content of any of the images posted, only that the thread is being used to advance an agenda of prejudice and offers nothing illuminating about the subject of illegal immigration. All it does is give angry people an excuse to feel justified in their anger.

I can't refute opinions that I don't hold BY.

You have said repeatedly that it is ok to target people from a particular demographic/ethnicity based on the notion that everyone who belongs to that group is responsible for the actions of anyone from that group and you suggest that anyone who does not go along with targeting people in this way is denying reality and not wishing to solve the problem. I can't think of a better description of prejudice.

I heard one lady say that some of her relatives are illegal and it wont be fair to them.
