Hi guys,

Today we called the dr. to make my husband's medical exam appointment. When he asked her about vaccinations she replied "No, you don't need vaccinations for K visas." He then explained that he was applying for an Immigrant Visa and she said "Yea, yea that's a K visa."

She is wrong, right??

This is what it says on the Argentine US Embassy website.

PLEASE NOTE: Vaccination requirements do not apply at this time to K and V visa Applicants. However, they will be required by the US Department of Homeland Security at the time of the change of status in the US.

I should call another doctor, sounds like she doesn't know what she's talking about?

And yes, p.s. she is listed by the Embassy, she's not just some random person...

That pretty much explains it! They ARE required when the bene adjusts status in the US. Best to have as many as you can when you have the medical abroad. Depends on the country.

K1 denied, K3/K4, CR-1/CR-2, AOS, ROC, Adoption, US citizenship and dual citizenship

!! ALL PAU!

Maybe...although she didn't ask him anything or see the list of his vaccinations. Sounds like she doesn't know what she's talking about.

OK, but we're not considered a "K" or a "V" visa...we're applying for CR-1/IR-1. Does it still apply?
