FAIR put this guy up to it. True story ask Steven.

According to the Internal Revenue Service, the 400 richest American households earned a total of $US138 billion, up from $US105 billion a year earlier. That's an average of $US345 million each, on which they paid a tax rate of just 16.6 per cent.

Does a carefully selected photo of a single guy with a sign reflect the color of opinion of everyone who was at the rally?

the sign looks photoshopped, but that does not reduce it's accuracy.

Well I wasn't going with photoshopped, but I'm interested to know why you believe why that would make it both accurate and valid.

Someone likes their facts well diluted with hysteria :)

We have already established illegals are all good honest people. Hence, the $1 billion spent annually by the state of California alone incarcerating illegals for non-immigration based crimes. Definitely model immigration candidates.

No one said all illegal immigrants or out of status ones for that matter are good honest people BY but cling to the hysteria element as long as you feel inclined.

Brown skin = innocent of any crime or slight

Edited by John Galt

"The fact that we are here today to debate raising America’s debt limit is a sign of leadership failure. It is a sign that the U.S. Government can’t pay its own bills. It is a sign that we now depend on ongoing financial assistance from foreign countries to finance our Government’s reckless fiscal policies."

Senate Floor Speech on Public Debt

If this were a Tea Party rally, they'd be pointing out how many "White/non-ethnic" people are in the crowd.

Wow, heaven forbid we actually point out what group of individuals of a different skin tone are in this crowd.

We'd surely hate the mods on this forum to get upset over pointing out who the majority of illegals are and who's in the crowd of that picture.

I mean mods are above name calling and saying things that people say are racist. I mean obviously the mods need to go back to elementary school and learn the definition of racism. You'd think since I'm sure some of them are educated pretty well they'd understand that pointing out observations is not racism. They'd understand that be elitist about your race is what is actually racism and since nothing of the sorts took place, claiming racism as reasons for their own version of bashing is absurd.

What are you bloody talking about? 16,000 gang members arrested yet you downplay it. $1 billion spend annually in incarceration from one state and you downplay this too.

Who would? Why would you want to use the standard of argument of the lowest common denominator? It's a bit silly.

Perhaps you need to try to stick to the actual topic, instead of trying to bring in irrelevant side tangents and then claim that because noone else is talking about what you want to talk about, that issues are being downplayed.

How silly.

Downplay what how? What you do is try to connect things that are not related. It's your specialty.

Gangs are a huge problem, but they are not a problem that is specific to ethnicity or illegality and gang violence will not be solved by implementing immigration reform policies (not even good ones). What has this to do with a thread on photoshopping a placard to incite outrage against a specific ethnic group?

Incarceration rates are a huge problem and the spending that goes with these high rates is too but again, what has this to do with photoshopping a placard to incite outrage against a specific ethnic group?
