Hey Everyone,

I am submitting the AOS package for my husband. I have looked over it so many times it's so hard to catch your own mistakes sometimes!! How does this look? Am I missing anything? We are not going to apply for the I-131, so other than that, does everything else look fine?

Thanks!!

-Linnea

No reference to payment (check)

No AP?

Make sure your letter for the 864 references the specific IRS rule that allows you to not file a tax return.

Is the 693 sealed? by a CS?

My Advice is usually based on "Worst Case Scenario" and what is written in the rules/laws/instructions. That is the way I roll... -Protect your Status - file before your I-94 expires.

US citizen's passport. Citizens, as you used it several times, is a plural form referring to several people. The apostrophe (') creates a possessive, in this case the passport or the copy of it belongs to the citizen, hence the citizen's passport.

There is no room in this country for hyphenated Americanism. When I refer to hyphenated Americans, I do not refer to naturalized Americans. Some of the very best Americans I have ever known were naturalized Americans, Americans born abroad. But a hyphenated American is not an American at all . . . . The one absolutely certain way of bringing this nation to ruin, of preventing all possibility of its continuing to be a nation at all, would be to permit it to become a tangle of squabbling nationalities, an intricate knot of German-Americans, Irish-Americans, English-Americans, French-Americans, Scandinavian-Americans or Italian-Americans, each preserving its separate nationality, each at heart feeling more sympathy with Europeans of that nationality, than with the other citizens of the American Republic . . . . There is no such thing as a hyphenated American who is a good American. The only man who is a good American is the man who is an American and nothing else.

Advanced Parole - so your beneficiary can leave the US prior to the completion of the AOS.

(as long as there is no overstay 180+ days)

I-131
