I know alil about asylum .My fiancee was seeking asylum in sweden .He was denied and had to return to Iraq.Thanks to our good old US consulate.They had him picked up and he had to return.So i have read up and talk to a few people about asylum.

Asylum in the US? If so, send me a PM and tell me exactly what you want to know. Went through about 9 years of asylum proceedings with my husband. From initial filing all the way to 8th circuit court of appeals. In the end, he was taken into custody during his federal appeals and deported. We had to do consular processing and waiver filing to get him home and obtain his green card.
