I am not sure if this is a new House Bill ....can someone confirm? Specifically Section 402?

heres the link...http://www.govtrack.us/congress/billtext.xpd?bill=h111-264

Here you go:

This bill is in the first step in the legislative process. Introduced bills and resolutions first go to committees that deliberate, investigate, and revise them before they go to general debate. The majority of bills and resolutions never make it out of committee. [Last Updated: Apr 5, 2010 7:29PM]

What worries me is the change of not allowing people on the National Sex Offender Registry to apply. I didn't think someone currently registering could apply. If that were the case someone just convicted or released which has not shown any rehabilitation progress would be allowed to apply and it would be possible to receive an approval.

At this time it does not apply to me and most people here even if we are considered AWA filers.

If changes are made to the AWA to retroactively force people to register again per SORNA then there will huge issues.
