hi! i received the appointment letter for the biometrics a few days ago. does that mean that everything i gave them (papers) are all good? i didnt get any RFEs. does that mean im ok? after the biometrics whats next? and how long is the estimate time before the interview. thanks!

:guides: and also search the topics first. There are lots of people this past week that asked this question.

NO you are NOT okay now that you've had biometrics. You CAN get an RFE up until you get the actual greencard.

After biometrics you just wait. if you have an interview you go. If you get and RFE you respond. Mostly a lot of waiting though.

Just to throw in too, you might get transferred to CSC as well. This is nothing to panick about, its completely normal, but this stage doesnt mean you won't get an RFE either. Until you are approved at CSC or your interview, you can get an RFE if you left something out, some people have had RFE's at the interview if they forgot something. All you can do is breathe, be patient and try not to stress about it too much. Interview dates depend on your local office, took me almost a month to get my notice after my biometrics, and it was a notice that was about a month in advance. Some were quicker, some longer. Its USCIS, theres no rhyme reason or pattern to any of it :lol:
