is there any concern if both my husband and me apply for immigration visa for our parents, 4 of them, at the same time? how much financial support we have to show?

If you can support em, you can sponsor em.

Six - you would have a count of six (4 parents + both spouses - both incomes together). (if your both doing it together - if you splitting them up, it would be 4 (2 parents, sponsor+spouse - each spouse would use their own income to sponsor there own parents)

My Advice is usually based on "Worst Case Scenario" and what is written in the rules/laws/instructions. That is the way I roll... -Protect your Status - file before your I-94 expires.

my question is how much is the combined income would be sufficient for the interview officer not to think they will add to burden of US government?

if it's only the 2 of you plus 4 of them, you have to have close to $37 thousand, check the i864P Poverty Guidelines for 6 people. The 2010 Poverty Guidelines I believe hasn't come out yet, I gave you the 2009 one.

What you will want to do is price what health insurance will cost you. They will require that you have it for all 4 of them. Hopefully none of them have any preexisting conditions.

This will not be over quickly. You will not enjoy this.
