Thanx everyone for the prayers u all done for me i appreciate and i pray that everyone in AP will receive visa and armani khan brother i hope ur AP will finish next month.

Starlight95 i also received an email from the embassy saying that please wait and applicant will receive call or call letter from our office soon and the next day when we called them they said that visa has been delivered to my city. and today on 30 April i received call from Amex to pick up passport with visa and brown envelop.

Thanx everyone for the prayer and i received the visa , this website has been a big help for me its a big help for others who are waiting in AP if this website was not available we all would be lost , to see other people receiving the visas encourage those who are in AP otherwise they would not get any idea and they would think that AP is for just some days but when embassy would make them wait more without they knowing about AP they would break with their spouses. so this website has been a big help for people otherwise people would disappoint , i will keep coming here and help people when they are in AP.

my wife is a brave woman that she did handle this torturing AP very good and she been telling me u dont have to worry u will be fine and this AP will finish.

some people when they receive the visa they stop coming here i can also understand i think to come on here AP threads it makes them realise that they were also in AP and they dont want to think on those days when they were in AP hell.

I am praying for everyone that they all receive the visa those are waiting and these days i am planning to buy me plane tickets.

can anyone tell me if there are threads on VJ for those people who just received the visa and arranging flights???

and i hope my hubby will b scheduled for an interview in like 3 months or so. exactly how many months after passing the interview did u receive ur passport? coz thats the only thing concerns me. once they take ur passport after the interview, i guess they just put it somewhere and forget about it. i've heard alot of such cases that ppl receive their passport after 8 months of interview. i mean that sucks.

IR-1 / CR-1 Visa

2010-04-19: approved online wohoooo

2010-04-24: NOA2 hardcopy received

2010-04-26: gave 2 email addresses and assigned case #

2010-04-27: received/sent ds3032, AOS bill

2010-05-01: IV bill became available online/paid

2010-05-06: sent in DS230 package via express mail 9:07am

2010-05-11: NVC acknowledges the receipt of AOS on 05/05

2010-05-13: operator told me that AOS sent to supervisor for review....

2010-05-14: AVR changes to received the checklist letter response on 5/13

2010-05-23: RFE for original birth cert. (i did sent original).......arghhh

2010-05-24: BC under review by some department

2010-06-02: sent in original BC again and previous BC is still under review

2010-06-10: NVC recognizes BC into their system

2010-06-15: BC under review

2010-06-21: SIF!!!!!omggggg soo happy 57 days in NVC process

2010-06-28: interview on Aug. 19, 8am.

2010-08-19: interview went fine but he's put into AP :(

2011-01-09: almost 5 months in AP "still pending"

2011-02-06: 5 and half months and still counting......when is this torture going to end....

2011-02-20: 6 months still no answer..........

2011-03-08: more than 200 days passed in AP..................(

2011-03-24: visa has been issued today. hurayyyyyyyyyy finally wait is overrrr.

o my bad u were also in AP for 8 months. (sigh) i was telling my husband the same thing that we shouldn't b too happy. once the case is out of NVC, i have no control over it. for what reasons do they hold passports for????

Sister at the time of interview if they take passport then its a good thing look in my signatures at 28 April my visa was issued and reached to me in the hands just in 2 days at 30 April. and if they did not had my passport then they would have had request to send the passport to embassy and it would have had took like more than one month to receive visa in hand.

99% male applicants in ISL goes through administrative and one percent that does not go through AP they are lucky.

WOWW.... so it means if my husband is interviewed in july, most likely he won't b issued visa in couple of weeks. he would have to wait to get the passport. it can take monthsssssssss...... (sigh)
