Good day everyone! I was hoping somebody can help me with my question. To kind of fill you in on my current situation, I brought my wife into the USA on a K1 visa. We got married here and were about to start our adjustment of status when she had an unfortunate situation in her family and had to return to South America. She left yesterday and her visa in her passport (k-1) expires on monday. Since we are married here in the states now, I guess I would have to apply directly for her permanent residency. What forms do I need? How do I go about this? I appreciate any information anybody can help me with.

Thanks!!

JP

This will explain the options available to you....

I am sorry your wife left without getting AP... I fear you are going to be apart for quite a few months...
