Yes, I got the interview letter a few days after I received the yellow letter.

I have been waiting for interview letter. It's a looooooooong wait OMG

Did anyone (who received yellow letter) receive interview letter yet?

05/06/09 - Mailed I-751

05/15/09 - Check cashed by VSC

05/18/09 - Received I-751 Receipt Notice

05/30/09 - Received Biometric appointment for 06/08 (dated 05/22)

06/08/09 - Completed biometrics. Still unable to access case status online. Now the real wait begins!

06/09/09 - Finally case status showed up online!. Touched today

09/21/09 - Approved (Letter from USCIS Vermont, dated 09/16/09)

09/23/09 - Card production ordered

09/30/09 - Card received!. USCIS done until citizenship!

05/21/10 - Mailed N-400

05/24/10 - N-400 received at Dallas, TX Lockbox

06/01/10 - Check cashed

06/04/10 - Received N-400 receipt notice (NOA dated 05/27)

06/29/10 - Placed service request for not receiving biometrics. Transferred to immigration officer, who confirmed that the Biometrics

letter has been generated and I would be receiving it shortly.

07/01/10 - Email and SMS case update stating that the Biometrics letter has been sent on June 29'th 2010.

07/06/10 - Received Biometric appointment for 07/23 (dated 06/30)- DONE

08/02/10 - Received yellow letter reminding me to bring my state ID (dated 07/28)

08/05/10 - Case touched. Email and SMS case update stating that the case has been transferred to the local office for interview.

08/06/10 - Case touched

08/06/10 - Received interview appointment for 09/10 at 9:20AM in Philadelphia, PA

08/07/10 - Case touched

08/10/10 - Case touched

09/10/10 - Interview completed and recommended for approval

09/17/10 - Oath ceremony scheduled for Sep 29!.

09/29/10 - Oath completed. US citizen as of today. Journey complete!.

Thanks Vijay, I think I need to call USCIS and make a service request without any delay. They should have already sent me interview letter by now. !

My NVC Journey

10/12/10 –NVC received the file

10/15/10 -NVC case # generated

10/18/10 -Called NVC and gave both beneficiary and petitioner email addresses

10/19/10 - Beneficiary emailed DS-3032 to NVC and also mailed the hard copy

10/26/10 - Called NVC and got the IIN

10/26/10 - Paid AOS fee $ 88.00

10/27/10 - AOS fee status shows "PAID"

10/27/10 - AOS package expressed mailed (next day delivery)

10/30/10 - IV fee bill generated and paid immediately

10/30/10 - Received AOS fee bill and DS-3032 kit and also received the confirmation of receipt of DS-3032

11/04/10 - IV fee bill status shown as "paid"

11/04/10 - Sent IV package (next day delivery)

11/06/10 - Received IV instructions packet (packet 3) via email

11/08/10 - AOS entered into NVC system

11/16/10 - AOS was reviewed and OK'ed

11/18/10 - IV entered into NVC system

11/24/10 - IV package was reviewed and generated artificial RFE for missing photographs (which was actually submitted with the package)

11/26/10 - RFE response mailed out

11/29/10 - RFE response delivered to NVC

12/08/10 - RFE response entered into NVC system

12/15/10 - SIF :)

12/15/10 - Case Complete :)

01/03/11 - Interview date assigned for Feb 15 @ 1:30 PM

01/17/11 - Medical done ! Passed

01/25/11 - Re-scheduled the interview for Feb 1 @ 1:00 PM

02/01/11 - Interview @ 1:00 PM - Approved :)

02/03/11 - Visa picked up from USEM

02/12/11 - POE @ JFK

They might say that you are under normal processing time. But if you could some how convince them to transfer to a Immigration officer, then the officer might be able to give a little bit more specific information. I had the problem with Biometrics as I didn't receive the notice one month after NOA and couldn't access case status online. I was transferred and the officer confirmed that the biometrics letter has been generated and I received the letter within a week after that.

Last Friday I called USCIS to check on my interview letter. I also wanted to make a service request, but the lady didn't make any service request and told me that I am still within normal processing time. She even didn't tell me that what is the current status of my application. They just read the information that we can see online. BS

My NVC Journey

10/12/10 –NVC received the file

10/15/10 -NVC case # generated

Had my interview yesterday. As it turns out, I applied about three months sooner than I was eligible. Even though I might satisfy the continuous residence requirements when the interview was conducted, my application could be denied. Its in review and I will receive a decision in the email.

Other than that, my interview went well. The questions asked were:

Voting month: November

War in 1900: WW-1

No of House Rep: 435

Term for Senator: 6yrs

Chief justice: John Roberts

First president: Washington

I guess I will wait for the decision and move on from there. Best of luck to all...

I got an email on the 13th with a change in case processing to testing and interview and touches on the 14th and 17th so atleast there is some movement.
