doesn't matter what the topic, the nutbags always show up. The worst part about the AZ law is that it doesn't take into consideration that there are GENERATIONS of illegals living here. It's like me being stopped and checked and them finding out that my grandfather didn't immigrate legally, then deporting half my family to a country they've never even been to. The kids were born here. So do you send their parents back to Mexico and put them in an orphanage? Do you deport the whole family - teenagers with a So-Cal accent and all? I dunno, what a mess.

Scott some people can not let go; that to does not do anything to help the arguement.

Kevin what ever law or is done about the issue there will be those that will be offended and or feel we have done them wrong. Maybe if a family can document they have resided here for more than say 20 years then the immeiadte family can stay.

You cant just blantantly allow someone to stay just because they had children here; my goodness if that is all it took you would have doctors set up on the border performing C-sections on mothers 8+ months pregnant.

I agree it is a mess and will only get worse if 12 million people are allowed to become citizens with in a short period of time or if nothing is done about it.

I agree evli..there's just really not a good solution. The best solution should have been started years ago. If we don't raise those around us to standard of living, they will drag us down to theirs. You buy a decent home in a nice neighborhood. Over the years the zoning laws get more lax, cleanup laws aren't enforced and home prices start to suffer. The downward spiral starts and in 20 years a once nice neighborhood is a barrio.
