Reschedule USEM Interview

For the firs time, can I reschedule my fiancee's USEM interview two days earlier? She will be having mid of next month. And this is my first time to reschedule her interview. I will be going back home earlier so I have to witness her interview earlier and go back in the US together ASAP.

There is no harm in asking but I have not heard of requests for a sooner date being accomodated but they ususlly will grant a postponement to a later date.

Not positive about PI, maybe some other PI filers have been successful and will let you know.

Hello. I need help here. I am going to rebook my flight but I would know if anyone tried to reschedule their interview 2 days earlier. This will be next mid of month. Thanks....

crisbess, call the call center and see if they can help you because i know that if they have openings for K1 interviews on the day that you want that they are very accommodating...i don't think 2 days earlier should be a problem though. just make sure you call them right away before the slots fill up. wishing you all the best on your fiance's interview. god bless!

Hi!

Yes, you can call and ask to reschedule the interview. If that date is not fully booked, then you can resched. But if not, then you don't have a choice but to stick to the original date. I suggest you call as soon as possible.

Thanks for your thoughtful advise. Called USEM first thing in the morning (Manila Time) and I was able to move my fiancee interview schedule two days earlier. The call center gal was so nice and she said it was wide open for the month of may for fiancee visa interview. Wow.. thanks everyone!!

I also called the Embassy in Manila today and the lady told me the same thing, May schedule is pretty much open for scheduling. She just said to schedule interview one week after medical.

i just rescheduled my parent's interview date yesterday from May 21st to May 4th since they had already completed their medical on April 6th...the call center girl also told me it was wide open for May for IR5 visa so I took the earliest available that they had
